Asmongold reaction to the new Blizzard Blue Post post announcing that the Shadowlands expansion release will be delayed until later this year. In the meantime Blizzard announced that beginning October 13 they will be releasing the Shadowlands pre-patch. Will this time be enough for Blizzard to fix the inherent problems with covenants and push some good changes for Shadowlands classes? Time will tell, stay tuned for the next update!…

  5. I don't know why people think this is going to mean anything changes with the core systems of shadowlands. All the stuff that no one wants, like the layers upon layers of borrowed power systems, are all going to stay. The balance will still be off on release, regardless of when they release it, and we'll suffer with whatever mess they give us for 3-4 months. If you think an extra month or so is going to change anything, you're delusional.

  6. Too bad I had time requested off work and my business has a blackout period from Thanksgiving to New Years as far as time off requests go. I know a lot of people that are in this same situation. So we are fucked as far as the launch goes unless its 2021. Bittersweet for me.

  9. Many people don't realize this but Blizzard was doing a great job until Cracdivision came into the picture. Bunch of money hungry asstard that only care about one thing and that's MONEY. They don't care about the players, yet we're still paying them so we can bitch about how f–ked up the game is while they cry all the way to the bank. We're all idiots!

  13. Asmongold's arguments about investors caring about the state of WoW implies they're just as passionate about Shadowlands just as much as the average gamer, and that they wouldn't jump ship at the first sign of a substantial dip in share price.

  14. Why are people happy? If the game is not ready, then obviously it should be delayed. But its not being ready in the first place is not a cause for rejoicing. "Yay, the game's not ready, but we're saved because they delayed it so they can fix it." Is the game going to be better because of the delay. Well, yeh … better than it would have been had it been released and been a mess. But that's not really the point.
