Shadowlands Enchanting Shuffle – Spreadsheet & TSM Strings

Read more about Shadowlands ➜ https://worldofwarcraft.mgn.gg

Enchanting works well with other professions for shuffling craftable items into enchanting mats by disenchanting them. Shadowlands is no different! This time Leatherworking and Jewelcrafting make profitable pairs more so than Tailoring.

I go through my spreadsheet calculating which is the cheapest to make for the most disenchanting profit. I’ll show you how to setup TSM mat price strings for use in your groups and operations. Take your wow gold making in Shadowlands to another level with this guide!

  1. Thanks for sharing all that information and the handy spreadsheet. I won't be able to follow this guide yet, since I have yet to level up a bunch of crafters, but I'm looking forward to putting this to good use in the future.

  2. Really interesting video! TSM is a really great addon and very fun but it can be sometimes complicated. But your videos really help me with learning how to use TSM. I really enjoy watching 😀

  3. Hey Samadan 🙂 First of all thanks for taking the time to do this!

I've disenchanted 16 scale armguards and I've gotten only a single soul dust multiple times (28 dust in total). Your spreadsheet lists them as 2-4 dust. what am I doing wrong?

  4. Thanks for the info!
I have an issue though, when I use the Soul Dust string, the Mat Price is blank now instead of showing a gold price. Therefore, now I cannot see the values in the crafting column. (border is not red, I've copied exactly how it is in the sheet, without quotes)
Edit: If I add dbmarket at the beginning like so min(dbmarket, (3*matPrice(….. it seems to work. Adding dbmarket should not affect the string's price, correct?

  5. Time to return the favor, hope this helps:

Your sacred shard price string is inaccurate imo. You substract too much to compensate for the soul dust you also get. You substract 1.4 soul dust which comes from disenchanting ONE ITEM. But you want to find the amount by which it lowers the price of ONE SACRED SHARD and not one disenchanted item.

    your formula:

    crafting / 1.5 – 1.4 soul dust = sacred shard

    the imo correct formula:

    (crafting – 1.4 soul dust) / 1.5 = sacred shard (the base equation: crafting = 1.5 sacred shard + 1.4 soul dust)

  6. I'm not sure If I'm reading the spreadsheet correct but 2-4x SD = ~15-30g minus opportunity & labour costs, including a 50% risk of loss; versus selling the actual product for min 19g seems like fool's economy? Probability dictates that you will make a loss and waste a lot of time to boot. Admittedly I've not crunched the numbers with the SS but it doesn't seem much better at first glance. Is this just a reflection of the Shadowlands economy at the time or am I missing something here? Thanks for the video as always Sam, your TSM knowledge has improved my gameplay enjoyment leaps and bounds.
