This video is about the pretty sad state Engineering is in the new expansion. There are no new mount recipes and no new goblin gliders. The gadgets seem lackluster and the goggles are a disappointingly low ilvl. There are a few items that will be worth putting on the auction house but you could count them on one hand.
I’m really hoping Blizzard adds some mount recipes or something exciting to Engineering in future patches, but as it stands right now unless you are a PvPer that crafts their own consumes theres no reason to level Shadowlands Engineering.

Personally I don't give two shits about selling stuff, so these items actually sound pretty good for their tactical purposes.
Its crap like this that always makes me think "wtf are the devs thinking?". They just cant help themselves. They have to literally take a crap on something during an expac. Just sad. Cant delete the friggen thing make to much gold from the older mounts.

😀 you can't be more wrong, this profession is not meant to be profitable but it meant to be useful for creative minds in a different type of content and also for FUN for the most also it's usable in BG's or dungeons and man hell it does A LOT of aoe damage if we speaking about that big bomb we can make 😀 and the new devices like the redirect fall damage? that's fucking awesome dood, I managed to pop myself up in the maw when 4 idiots hunting me down and the jailer's angel wanted to kill me and I managed to pop myself even higher after that with borr-gat (something like that) toy and I killed them all with that thing cuz those idiots were waiting for me to fall down 😀 it's also working with a specific glider macro and it does a lot damage… also having a free cc ability for random pvp encounters in the outside world? awesome! and 15cd hearthstone to oribos or maw or any other sl location is broken itself 😀 this is the BEST profession! if you want golds make alchemi or fucking legendary blank items 😀 also this gives you a combat ress for even a noncombat ress class and you can use old belt enchant's like nitro boots or bfa shield which increases with ilvl … love this profession
As Blood DK tank the only thing i use is nitro boost from WOTLK. Plus it is nice to have my mailbox anywhere where i go, even tho it is on a 1 hour CD!
why isn't there more stuff under engineering? and I want better item lvl goggles !
Levelling just enough engineering to make shadowlands wormhole generator as flying between zones takes a while, shadow land mines for pvp, 5oul-Tr4p for pvp, perma goblin glider, gnomish gravity well to use with said glider to navigate some high places, jeeves for remote banking, loot-a-range to speed looting up, moll-e for remote mailbox to go alongside my argent squire/pony bridle… it's a money trap, but that's why i have skinning….. also, having access to auction house in oribos and other places is very useful.
I know this is 3 months old but how is the profession with the battle rez and invisibility belt bad? Are you high

yeah man its not for making money, well it can but, its more for the fun of having it and lot of that stuff is super use full. bombs not high dmg sure but if some guy is at like 10hp and you want to look cool throw a bomb at his ass. top of all that the belt stuff helps a lot, Sky Goblin sell for a lot still, the head gear looks cool, cool mounts from it too. Then you get all the cool ass toys too, like the robot and how you can have them fight each other, and the gifts are fun too, having some fire works etc. but everyone sees something different, some people see something good, some people see something bad and other people see something gay.
I've switched a lot of my toons to engineering recently. It's amazing! I have battle-rez, reusable goblin glider on a 3 minute CD, an invis for 15s that works most of the time (still need pots for keys but I still use it all the time), repair bot, and maybe the best item is the Wormhole Generator which makes getting around sooo much easier (as does the goblin glider in fact). Eng gives you some great utility that no other prof comes close to. Great of QoL with high-level play benefits in BR just not a ton of money to make. Gathering profs are the most reliable and they combine well with eng.
