Blizzard pay too much attention to the content they want the players to play. And they never pay attention to the experience how we play the game. I am not sure I will come back for 9.2.
cap conduit lvls in pvp, go back to mop/wod 1 set honor 1 set conquest gear 0 upgrades… theyd be able to tune so much better if they did this but they could care less anyway. itll just be a whole new grind for 9.2 until pvpers bitch enough and they throw us a half chewed off bone to bandaid fix it
I think we the fans owe it to ourselves to release the soul of our beloved game from the proverbial Frostmourne that Blizzard has become. The class sets are total shite. Nothing but uniform garbage with no class flavor at all taken into consideration. The zone looks like more rehash of old ideas with nothing new. No new content, OBVIOUSLY. Probably no new PVP content as well after all these many long years. CERTAINLY NO NEW CLASS BALANCING AS WELL NOR STRIPPING OF ITS GEAR DEPENDENCE TO USHER IN A SKILL-BASED PVP PARADIGM. Absolute shite tired same formula with the big bad. They took Anduin and turned him into something he was never intended to be. Varian is rolling over in his grave. For the zone they had a chance to do something so radically different like a seemingly endless sand-filled dimension beyond time and space with hourglasses floating like stars and fully grown bronze drakes being kept as novel pets for the first ones, but nah. They could've even done something more sinister and void to showcase the dichotomy of beings beyond our conventional ideas of what "good" and "bad" look like, but nah, sparkly rune spheres go vroom. BLAND DEVOURER MOBS GO CHOMP! I've been playing WoW since the beginning and have been able to reason with all the good within the expansions, until NOW. I just can't do it anymore. Oh and I must say, way to go Blizzard for making sure they included that awesome politically-loaded rainbow blizzard shirt in their video. Definitely need to keep up their appearances as being an actually "good" company when we all know they're just full of greedy and cynical executive types now. WoW has gone to shit and until we get ACTUAL Warcraft fans in those developer seats who KNOW and LOVE the game and lore in its entirety (and who are devoted to the story and new content and not politically correct pandering to the masses) and not just a bunch of sharky, executive corpo-types or idealist liberals fresh out of college who want to try their hand at storytelling and worldbuilding, WoW will NEVER be good again. I have never commented before on any content, this is my first true comment against WoW, but truthfully I just can't take it anymore. Arthas was right, no king rules forever. I just wish there was a game worthy of taking this mantle from WoW once and for all so that it can finally die with dignity.
I like being a jack of all trades master of none type in wow. I’ll usually hit rival each season in pvp I’ll get Ksm and aotc, but you won’t see me in a +20 or in a mythic or pushing 2k rating
It feels like we are just ignoring everything else in the game for that one new zone they are making. Shadowlands feels completely disconnected to wow… Legion was so good because i knew the npcs, I was going back and forth in the world to do stuff like going to karazhan or in the maelstrom…
Totally agree with you on the gear part, I never geared a melee in bfa because I didn't want to farm the drest trinket on it because I don't like pve that much
Love your vids, could you maybe one day shed some spotlight on the issue for players like me, where i play reasonable high end content in all parts of the game, mythic raid, aiming for glad, hota, +20-25 kets etc, but in all of those im being hindered by weekly vault, its just sad i MUST pick 1 field of specialisation OR forced to make an alt or fall much behind in the other content. 🙁 Maybe video could be also about i.e. account wide rep (maybe with weekly cap so that people dont use i.e. high rep quests on multiple chars to minmax it. Seems some of the changes you suggest get put in so my hope is on you here to gain some attention 😀
Tier sets will drop in raid or great vault, but the new zone will allow you to 'create' tier set pieces as a 'bad luck protection system'. So I believe you will have to do a few things in there, at least as 'bad luck protection' measure.
This patch is suppose to end the "Warcraft 3 story"……which somehow connected to this pos story that literally has nothing to do with the events of WC3. They literally just retconned everything that has to do with Titans and all of a sudden these robot things are actually the creators of the universe and not the Titans???? uh ok.
Then there's something that Asmongold said that got me thinking, why are we even fighting the Jailor/Jeff Bezos clone cause all it sounds like is he wants to get rid of Death which is bad how???? We've literally seen Warcrafts ability on what happens after death and it looks worse than anything that could happen if the Jailor stopped death. Which we've witnessed souls get eaten, tortured, abused, used for fodder, beaten, used as slaves, used for god only knows what else, murdered, used for fuel and the list goes on. Yet stopping death is worse just cause what…..
Some of the features look alright but god damn the story looks like its done by reject writers who couldn't handle being a Starbucks Barista.

The tier sets look like leveling sets. They don’t capture the class fantasy at all.
They Announced a level 60 paid boost. So they haven’t learnt anything.

I like your idea about set bonuses, that could be a cool aspect if they make each bonus viable.
The take on the tier set bonuses was hands down the best idea I've heard about balancing the game and escaping the loop. Mad props for that!
hopefully those in-game tier sets are not the mythic/elite versions so that they could look like the drawing concepts we saw
