Theorycrafting, numbers, simulations are overrated. This is where we make bold claims with absolutely no proof to back them up purely based on gut feeling and intuition.

  1. I've seen a lot of spread damage in M+ in the beta. I have a theory that higher keys are going to be limited not by immunities or large cooldowns in order to mitigate big hitters like in BFA. Rather, overall damage and healing throughput of Boss/Prideful encounters. In this way, I think that the offhealing capabilities of the Guardian druid with Convoke/Resto-spec will be super useful for in high keys. Just like tanks and healers are often valued for their damage, Bear-druid might be uniquely valued for its healing based on how M+ dungeons are looking.

  2. Fel Dev/demonic feels good to press but it's cooldown is long and static with no current way to reduce the 1 min cooldown. Brewmasters can bring their celestial off 1 min cd faster with a clean rotation. This will also scale with haste, double keg smash leggo, etc. With gluttony gone vengeance has no foreseeable way to improve their meta uptime even as they gain haste they will still have a static 1 minute cd on their 8 seconds of meta. We will have to see how they synergize with future hypothetical borrowed powers. Covenants don't count.

  3. I think prot will be weaker than most early on, should be off tank probably, but I think they'll still be acceptable. Like every xpac, they'll probably scale uncontrollably well.

  4. if they legendary stays unerfned for guardian druid it will be guardian druid meta all over again like in legion, many main tanks already say that guardian druid is the most tanky of the tanks atm because of that legendary

  5. My healer feelycraft: People still have hope for pala because it was so insanely strong for BFA. When in reality it's entered the "holy" tier along with holy priest, of unplayable dogshit.

DPS feelycraft: Fury warrior was acceptable even before they buffed it by 10%, might be actually bonkers. Boomy probably our new AoE overlords.

  7. DH tanks were great for m+ even as time went on in BFA the only thing that held them back from dominating the meta was mainly due to prot war being just so absurdly strong. This was basically the analysis from multiple top players in the world. Most still think they are going to scale well in high keys and transition into the charred flesh + immolate armor + fiery brand build with Kyrian and dropping spirit bomb because they become quite tanky and with the legendary to have high fiery brand uptime. However the main balance changes will be shortly before the season starts and raid unlocks so nothing is set in stone.

  8. The real problem with bear druid is its just not very fun to play. You have like two buttons to hit. VDH is similar bit its a lot more flashy and jumping around casting sigil is pretty fun. BDK to a lesser extent suffers from the same thing. You don't really have a lot to do a lot of the time. I've been playing prot pally lately and you've got 2 interrupts and a stun. And you externals you can use on your party members in your downtime. Feels good to snipe a big heal from your healer now and then.

  9. guardian druid seems nice really but about warrior that players dont like about them is bleed debuffs . simple cuz those r the most painful debuffs for warriors cuz those r physical and doesnt affect by shield block cuz its a debuff and those bleeds r eating ur ignore pain . thats why warrior can be good but painful for some bosses on raid cuz they will need much healing sometimes and painful to keep spamming IP to stay alive . maybe im wrong but thats what i see why most prot tanks said '' i might play warrior as alt but not main for castle raid ''.

  10. Heyas! Nice and fun video as usual. 🙂

I play as Vengeance DH and I share you feelings/concerns about scaling. Will it break at a +20 dungeon? Also I don't even expect to get a spot as raid tanker with my current toolkit. Right now I have:
Plan A: Vengeance for M+ and Havoc for raiding (like I've done on BFA)
    Plan B: Prot pally
