I main demo lock rn and I thought we would get nerfed a lot harder then that. I love affliction more than demo so those buffs are exciting. Wonder how much of a difference it will make at the end of the day. Not very thrilled with the dark soul nerf but I'm sure with the dmg buffs to curses we'll even out 🙂
I think rets and affliction came out on top, especially affliction. Sad to see pvp ilvl scaling is still a thing in rated PVP when it's about to be nixed in DF.
It's a 25% Nerf to Ret Wings current burst Damage, Crit and HEALING. So I would say it's kind of a significant nerf, and not just an "oh its only 5%" #MakeRetGreatAgain#wheelchairspec#nomortalstrike
Affliction is dead rip. 30% buffs to spells that do 0 damage. Best part was the fear of getting crit on by a UA dispel inc spam dispeling and people running from darksoul.
They messed up big time and took demon armor out of the game. Affliction feels so broken now, as someone who’s played it since vanilla. They needed to nerf destro locks and just hit affliction with it for some reason also even though they were not the Meta at all in 3s and haven’t been for quite a while. Meanwhile outlaw sits untouched cuz whazz and cdews team play it. Seriously is infuriating. I like where they’re going with some of this but can we get one season where rogue mage isn’t god tier? Oh wait their game is already too dead too dead to play around with that. Hopefully dragonflight breathes a little life back into the game.
Would like to see outlaw survability nerfs. War/ret dmg get tuned down, the ret's changes are leaving them with the same burst but more dmg overall. Demo cc needs to get tuned down too, I don't agree you should be able to use the 40yard axe toss when you are in a cc.
avenging wrath was also nerfed 25% it was from 20 to 15. AV nerf is bigger than that cuz it nerfs dmg and crit which were both multipliers but in pvp youre look at 32% increase in dmg down to 23%
Venruki mentioned this awhile back about nerfing cooldowns and buffing sustain damage and I think it has been taken into consideration as far as tuning and balancing in pvp goes moving forward into DF. Looks like a very bright future for wow pvp in my opinion

Rising sun kick is already op with the oneshot build, now it's going to be doing 40-50k plus
