  1. Lets be real, this will not be your last feedback video. ;-D Few changes next week and boom. Anyway, I hope Warlocks will still get some attention in general. Destro is my baby and I am really disapointed for the situation. There is nothing new, Fire&Brimstone and Chaos Bolt doing tiny damage, legendaries are boring and not that good either, especially Embers of the Diabolic Raiment does not feel even close a legendary. Our whole spec is Infernal CD window and thats it. I just really hope some attention and tuning before launch because this is just so sad.

  2. For fire and brimstone just make incinerate do increased damage on the primary target, make necrolord ability affect spenders rather than builders. I would also like to see something that gives increased sustain vs burst as an option.

  3. Soul Fire needs to not have anti fire-lock synergy with things like cataclysm. Whilst at the same time not even synergising with backdraft? It should be affected by backdraft and have the extra thing it applies reworked or even removed for a shorter cooldown on SF.

  4. definite agree on the 6 second pet summon. IF pets were beefier, and/or didn't die left right and centre to mechanics, then maybe. It might be something to penalise on resummoning. But as it is, especially demo, losing your pet the second time in an encounter and it might as well stay dead. And, if you're running DeCon, every Tyrant knocks ~6th of the health off your Felguard – and there's very little passive recovery. You're constantly having to heal him back up, just to use a talent.

  5. Hey Kala, What you think about making Immolate generate more shards instead of buff Chaos Bolt Damage? Making you can cast more frequent Chaos Bolts with Backdraft buff.
Sorry if my English is bad, not my native language, just trying to learn and discuss the topic haha

  6. destruction`s main problem is it`s ridiculously simple and boring to play ..compared directly to where it was at a few years ago. fire and brimstone should be toggle like it used to. brim and shadowburn should obviously be baseline

  7. You want a response to pet summons? PVP effects PVE…. they dont give a sht because you're still going to sub… thats what happened. You expect some forum post admitting that? Blizz only cares as much as they have to

  8. Good video man, just that part about cooldowns. Affiliation cooldown doesn't feel impactful enough needs to be buffed. They you go into Demonology and say cooldown is strong but outside of it we do little damage, same as Destruction. Doesn't it have to be like that? I mean either you smack in CDs or you have constant damage. If you have both then spec is OP?

  9. BASELINE INTERRUPT. Being forced to use a specific pet as aff/destro is terrible, especially since GoSac isn't really great, which would be the second change I'd like to see; it should be a flat dmg increase, and NOT have a 1 hour duration, it should last until we summon a new demon, or death. It's literally these two things that stop me from playing my warlock.

  10. What if they just made the 3 warlock specs very simple. Aff is 1 target, Destro is 2 targets, and Demo is 3 targets. Off is 1 target because most of their high damaging dots or their dots with cd are single target, Destro has Havoc which makes the masters at 2 target cleave, and for demo they make it so the swarm aspect of demo is still there but because they are the master of all their minions let them have an added bonus to their minions as a passive (felgaurd does a 3 target cleave with autos, imps swarm and if you have the imp out they increase the duration of other imps and maybe their cast makes all active imps fire an improved firebolt every 12 seconds, bake in "from the shadows" to the base fel hound and having the main minion out lets other hounds stack the debuff up to 3 (1 for each hound out) and "from the shadows" decreases the cd of all of your summons active abilities by 25%abilities

  11. I see your concerns about chaos bolt for Destro locks and I fear it too. Each one of us plays the game for something else, I like to play warlock for the sake of casting chaos bolts, it surely feels underwhelming atm in prepatch. This spec feels stripped down from it's core now. Focus more on spamming rain of fire than it's most iconic spell imo. What I'd like to see is a buff that actually works like removed talent grimoire of supremacy, which is why it feels incomplete. They could modify the spell itself and make a mini talent replica into the tooltip, or as my second thought, they could add something like eradication built in chaos bolt, but with lesser value than the talent (The first would be a buff for casting it while infernal is up, and the second just a flat dmg amp). But all that said is for a fancy way of tuning it up. It's all fine if they just decide to add like 1k pure dmg to it. Let us hope… XD

  12. I trust your vids Kala, but wowmeta projections as of October 5th scare me.. they are showing Destro yet again eclipsing affliction and demonology making destro the only competitive DPS just like it was in BFA. And here I thought I was excited to have an actual choice in which spec I have fun with because they are all competitive. The reason I don't like destro is it reminds me too much of fire mage,.. where as Affliction and Demonology feel more like what a warlock should be. SO I REALLY hope I am not pigeon holed into destro yet again!

  13. really like what you've articulated with the covenant abilities- enables each to have their niche where they shine, but as you're laying it out it keeps tuning pretty close so that there aren't obvious outliers, and gives players who care about performance more freedom to pick what's best for their preferred content, or just which covenant they like the best and still feel good about it

My main feedback for Warlock is to change/buff grimoire of sacrifice and I really hope you can relay my feedback to blizzard.

I don't know why grimoire of sacrifice has to be so crappy, ever since they changed it in MoP I felt like grimoire of sacrifice was just poorly designed. I have tested grimoire of sacrifice VS my pets and I can clearly see that the damage of grimoire of sacrifice is lackluster. While my pets do MORE damage and ALWAYS deal damage. Grimoire of sacrifice SOMETIMES deals damage and deal LESS damage.

I am a high-end warlock raider and I NEVER felt the need to pick or wanted to pick grimoire of sacrifice. In my opinion, grimoire of sacrifice is a DEAD talent.

Also the hassle of maintaing it is just annoying. EVERY 60min re-summon my pet to sac it. I really don't feel need the RP need to re-summon and kill off my pet again every 60min.

    How to fix it?

    1) Make grimoire of sacrifice work like lonewolf. Aslong as you have no pet, you gain grimoire of sacrifice.
    SIMPLE QoL
2 ) BUFF grimoire of sacrifice

    3) Change grimoire of sacrifice

    Example change:

-Grimoire of sacrifice now gives you 3% hp every 3 sec and you deal 15% more damage with your DoTs and direct damage spells.

And yes, I 100% agree Fire and Brimstone really needs a buff, when you look at the other options, especially Cataclysm, there is NO choice there.

  15. Hello, thanx for amazing content, its great to have a dedicated lock like u around! I mained lock whole BFA and suffered in m+ as all the other fellow locks. For shadowlands im thinking to switch to shadow priest. What would you say in terms of playstyle ( not numbers as there will be lots of tuning) comparing spri to affli lock? i will be focusing rbgs alot, raids and m+, thanx alot in advance. Btw i dislike demo alot:)

  16. Thanks for the updated video. I've played demo since they let us have the different specs and it feels like it's this <–> close to being just on a level footing with everyone else. Just a couple of changes and it wouldn't feel so lackluster. I think a large part of my problem is the 6 second delay. I mean, seriously, they give me a spec that is built upon its demons and minions, then handicap me by not letting me actually use them. I spent so much of the time I played in the beta just twiddling my thumbs as I waited for them to come off cooldown. I'm so disappointed. Normally, they trash it all to hell and back for an expansion and I've basically had to relearn it every time. Now when I really needed them to do something like that, they didn't do anything.

  17. thanks for the video Kalamazi. Demo truly needs to have grimoire of felguard reduced to 1.5 min cd and most important is the tyrant to be an instant cast instead of 1.7sec cast,( on top of that it has to cast demonfire). Also I was thinking of a way to fix the AI of the Tyrant, instead of having a cast time of 1 sec (i am not sure how much) it should have a CD of 1sec and making the demofire instant. So when in M+ and PVP the tyrant is not so useless while moving.
All other spec have to main pet (infernal and darkglare) instant, while we "the demonology master" has to cast for the big pet, nonsense to me.
