  1. 6:30 right as we sit down with them, Kel'Thuzad walks somberly into the bar with everyone, and as the other characters lock eyes with him he says, 'They had me keep it WITH me in the fight! I left it in Mal'Draxxus near one of the pyramids! When I tricked Montoya into becoming a Lich I intentionally made a replica to fool everyone? Why!'
Cairne laughs and says 'Atleast YOU died in game, I had to die in a paragraph of a book pre Cata! not even a pre expac patch lol'
Gul'Dan main laughs, I died off screen between stages, and my skull wasn't even NEAR where I died, Gul'Dan 2 snickers, MY death wasn't even shot for a long cutscene, it's cut in half and unless they clear mythic, you never GET the full story'
Maraad says 'I got a 5 issue comic, 2 cinematics, and I die as a plot point at the end of a zone. Malfurion slams his mug of Ale. . . 'I haven't had a role in my families story since Cata, the champions and us save the zone, free Hyjal from being drained by Ragnaros, and the ONLY character growth in 12 years is burying a Orc alive in a cutscene.' I'm near my OWN brother and Wife at the end of Nighthold and we don't SAY a WORD'. . . 'And don't even get me STARTED on her ignoring everything and forcing me sidelined and our daughter chasing after her and NEITHER even thought to come to me for advice, and my Brother is stuck with the Titans and watching over Sargeras leaving Maiev this time alone. . .
Maiev snatches his Mug and downs the rest, 'Atleast you got to kiss your beloved, We banter back and forth, and team up to get to Argus, and I'm forgotten because Sargeras needs to stab a sword and get teleported to said ship.'
Grom tosses a empty keg at the entrance, nuking both sides of the swing doors and keg. 'My son goes back on EVERYTHING I sacrificed for, Blames my blood brother for being made Warchief when Garrosh spent the ENTIRE expansions zone quests begging him, pleading, demanding! Picking fights with the emissary of Lo'gosh!?! and consuming a portion of a old god's heart. . . and has the GAUL to cry out FOR THE HORDE!?! NOT the Horde I gave up everything to save, NOT to say to the races of Azeroth that the Legion can Bleed AND be killed! And I don't even have more than a monument back home in 17 years.'

  2. I liked the Nerz'hul fight. I think they definetely launched the patch unfinished. Knowing what we know now, about the inside situation + Covid. Its undersatandable. But honesty takes you s long way. Don't promise if you can not deliver.

  3. The only good thing that Blizzard has done for WoW since Legion is adding Allied Races, let's be honest with ourselves. The story has just went downhill and flat out became "The Sylvanas show, with guest star Jaina!" from BFA onward.

Blizzard should have taken a page out of Guild Wars 2, where you are the protagonist. You are the badass savior of the world, and you get canonical credit in the lore for killing the bad guy. We sort of got this treatment in Legion, and let me tell you… I felt like a badass in Legion. I wanted to do shit in Legion.
At the very least, bring back NPCs referring to us by our canonical class titles and keep the class orders at least vaguely relevant. What, did my coven of Warlocks just suddenly disband at the end of Legion? Did Odyn just suddenly disband his Valarjar? Did the Cenarian Circle just randomly embrace the industrial revolution?
Right now, my character doesn't matter. All that apparently matters is the sexual tension between Sylvanas "Don't worry, her eyes are blue so she's good now" Windrunner, and Jaina "I've carried WoW for a decade" Proudmoore, and whatever the hell Lich King Thanos is doing.

  4. Wow.. so you're keeping the WoW channel to bash on WoW while you praise FF. My guess is you'll be doing the same in the FF channel….. I suspect my comment will be taken down by tomorrow.

  5. Haven’t played since halfway through BFA, been playing FF14…. But, hearing how the story is now and to what it was when I last played… the difference between FF14 story and WoWs is night and day. FF14 is like a continuous story from expansion to expansion which gets better and better it feels like, but WoW is like … individual scenes or something, and most are completely disconnected.

  6. This is what happens when your "writers" are more concerned about what twitter-parasites say about them instead of feedback from actual fans of the game. The funny thing is that their recent controversy is going to push them towards even more wokeness in order to save face in front of the twitterattis, further damaging their own franchise. LOL

  7. Just replicating the experience of war in the 21st century, get sent to a place you don't care about, kill a whole bunch of the natives, and then pack up and leave without any substantive change.

  8. They don't care about the lore anymore. I love WoW. But this time i honestly belive its just gone waaay too far. I don't think they can recover from this and it breaks my heart.. Guilds keep disbanding, people leaving, it's so hard to find groups right now specially on Alliance. Not once in 16 years ive taken a break but i just can't play anymore my friends are gone, all of them, i'm literally alone here in Korthia. Got my KSM pugging… So bad. This destroy the experience and they don't seem to care. My guild disbanded yesterday. My faction is dead. Its crazy man, what happened to this game.

  10. the One TRue KING!!!
to me Blizzard is dead on many fronts, but especially for what they did to the character of NErzhul. One of the best written characters just thrown away.. Warcraft III created incredible character which thru his sheer will weaved himself out of overwhelming odds and ripped a part of reality for himself via Arthas. After lifetime and undeath of pain and horror he managed to upstage everybody and shape reality to his liking…
yet it was all thrown away… the incredible symbiosis that arthas had with him in WC III was thrown away in the book, and now all those years later the entire character of Nerzhul was replaced by bullshit jailer, while whatever is left of him was reduced to a cryful simp..

I was staying with blizzard observing the situation and on occasions when they were hinting something big with him, i was being hooked again and again hoping it will go somehwere. In Wrath, the Lich Kings audio files about him being a shaman once.. then in WoD, having him being a pushover in a dungeon… then in Legion, during DK questline where Lich Kings oders u to grab Tirion Fordrings body to be a rider of Apocalypse… especially the last one was screaming to me ''yes he is there''… but then Shadowlands came and have finally put a nail into that coffin.

To me thats enough, the game was changing into ways that i wasnt appreciating for a while but with that one aspect of the game gone, i am free to go.. finally

  11. Were* our efforts pointless? Might wanna fix the title there, for some reason every word has a capital letter also ''efforts'' is plural so you would have to change was to were as well, because of that, or you can just remove the S and then keep ''was''. 😀

  12. Shadowlands falls apart so bad when you think about the very simple mechanics.

    1. The Kyrian know whats going on and ferry the souls. They should be able to just drop them NOT in the maw.

    2. The arbiter is broken, so just dont send the souls to her to be judged to the maw?

    3. The rules are not evenly applied across the story at all and make things that were a problem suddenly not one anymore without any closure

    4. This expansion exists at all.

  13. The moment blizzard talked about some obscure character and “fighting death itself” I knew they couldn’t handle that kind of narrative. Blizzard writers and designers just have such a low skill cap over the past 5 years.

  14. Lets be real. WoW was just warcraft 3 that you could play inside of. Its why wrath was so good because we got resolution with arthas and the rise and fall of the scourge. Blizzard did a great job creating a warcraft 3 spinoff that lasted 5 years. But much like scrubs, when the story finished they got picked up for another season… and were like “uh… Nef’s dad? Maybe… pandas? How about… time travel? I guess we could always do the afterlife… or something.” Everything WotLK feels a bit “🤷‍♂️” 😂

  15. The ONLY reason I started playing WoW was because I was a HUGE fan of the story from the 3 RTS games and xpacs. I completely checked out when An'Qiraj came out, but they pulled me back in with the promise of going to Dreanor. Which turned out not to be exactly what I expected, but I stuck around to see what happened to Illidan and the heroes from Warcraft 2. Then Wrath of the Lich King had me all in, I needed to see what happened to Arthas. Then they brought out my favourite character, Deathwing, for Cataclysm and I had to come back for that. And as soon as the old gods showed up, I was out, and I haven't given a shit about the lore or characters since then.

  16. Ive not been watching many of these, but when you guys said how in FF theres intermission where they show cutscenes and stuff during boss fights "and then there's Nerzul" I chuckled quite well.
WoW is a sinking ship and I've jumped from it, never been more glad either.
