What are your thoughts?
Is this coherent story writing opening doors to a Sylvanas and possibly Arthas redemption Arc, or a Frankenstien of previous plot and music to pump out content on the cheap?

I like the flag behind! And cinematic is awesome!
For me it is good cinematic and logical story for Sylvanas. It was always very strange that after she became Banshee she was crazy, evil, full of revege and hate to all living from the beginning (Garithos and Dreadlords thing, Undercity and second Plauge events etc.). But rest of undeads often stay the same after ressurection in their personalities (it was shown in Before the Strom book, where many Forsakens wanted to meet their living families). Now we know that her Renger General side was not in Banshee, that side who always was loyal to High Elves, that "human" side. Anyway, she knows that all consequences must be taken because that second part is her after all, but without some emotions. So I don't think it is a Redemption arc, it is more like summary of Sylwanas tragic story and her fate (and propably consequences of bad decisions). For me it's much better than making her a "Disney evil guy" that we only have to kill.

Sylvanas difficult char, she have terrible pain, light and dark difficult together after what happened. Light soul see how her Dark soul done with world. Conflict inside. But after what Uther did, she return.

Personally id take Metzen over Danuser every minute,any day of the week for the story/franchise development…Sure with Danuser you will get alot of Sylvanas since she is his favourite character,but it also means he can ruin her easily,not pleasing the fans,while with Metzen if was more of a Thrall thing with him,he was that man,but i also think Metzen did justice with other characters too,it wasnt focus on 1 character per say you know what i mean…P.S i personally think that Arthas is the greatest character they made in the Warcraft franchise,some may say Sylvanas,but not to me 😀 (also shes kinda getting boring at this point,being the main character that drives the plot forward for basically what,few expansions now..bench her like Khadgar,Medivh etc..)

Sylvanas and the horde were used as a tool to bring death and destruction down on themselves and the entire world. Again and again the horde players defended them as being the actual 'good guys' when they were in fact just a bunch of murdering psychopaths.
