I tried wow retail but since i like the old mmorpg scene, everything was too easy and too fast. It was all about speed leveling in dungeons and get max level fast without having to try really. Thats why i thought i should check wow classic but now i dont know , wow classic or tbc ? i thought tbc is just an expansion for wow classic, but it seems that i can choose between them.. so thats what i dont understand. If i make a charakter in wow classic, i wont have him on tbc?

I hope they come out with a WotLK classic server. That was my favorite expansion and if they include the group finder, that would be perfect for me. I'd never play another expansion if they came out with it, as the mechanics in WotLK were top notch (at least for me).

I also tried to get into wow retail, I played till around lvl 40 back in the Wotlk. Wow retail was kinda fun but my main gripes
were that the enemies in the overworld scaled, making leveling up to fight them worthless. Another is that i hate that
the game forces new players to play through the BFA content to lvl 50 on a totally new account.
I started with TBC Classic few days ago and started leveling a warrior, man am I enjoying it leveling through the zones getting my professions and everything just enjoying the game
Classic is the one I get the most enjoyment out of so It'll be the one I'll be focusing on for the foreseeable future. It doesn't really bother me that the servers are currently a little empty, I'll be able to level up my characters undisturbed now 😀 Maybe I'll give TBC a try down the line someday but not now.
I'm too casual for Shadowlands and usually feel like I'm just doing things for nothing, nothing feels rewarding and I'm just questioning myself on why I'm using hours upon hours when I'd rather do something else.
The fact that you put so much work and dedication into your channel makes me want to sub either way 😀

Wish I had watched this before subscribing… I started classic yesterday and there was only 1 other person on the server. Maybe I'll try tbc but from this video I'm thinking maybe retail would be best but not sure.

Thank you for the video! I am mostly a solo palyer and choosing between these games can be a bit difficult. I think I will be going to retail WoW unless I can convince a friend to go through lvls on TBC with me 😀
