You gate keep normal people who want to have fun and enjoy their time and then this shit happens. Say what you want about ff14 but i can go after a stressful day, log in, do a fun dungeon and then find a stranger to talk to in the plaza for hours. Thats a real community no Ones sweaty
the wow franchise is dead. just a bad game they dumbed it down to make it super easy for anyone to play over power the same easy classes adn specs over and over. Nobody plays 80% fo the game quit
I dont think it's dead. I think it's on pause. While SoD hold people's attention hard-core will be slow. If or when SoD is at it's end or feels bad hard-core will fill up again. It's a cycle…it always comes back
Honestly I don't think it is but you know SoD is like OP atm so I guess when it's over people will filter back in. Also dunno if you play retail but the main hub of DF is always full on my server's though I do play on 3 high pop server's!
nothing new, streamers play SOD and so do the rest of the players. Once SOD hype wears off, probably HC will thrive again, but in my opinion due to how SOD is structured with quick and short updates, SOD hype will be always steady
