Hey Para seriously thinking about coming back to wow use to love PVP on my afflic lock. Would you say its worth it as something to kill time on the downtime of my day? Gotta work a regular 9/5 job so cant be up all night or grinding all day.

You can get soul ash from command table missions but you need level 24 followers for it.

Edit- Also as a guy who played both Horde and Ally I can assure you trade char will make you question humanity regardless of faction. 😉
Working on my 12th lvl 60 all my toons are around 190 ilvl
For each toon I leveled through ToF and only did the anima quest/BGs
Once I hit 60 I usually have about 1.5-2k anima and I start the campaign quest chain.
Takes about 2 days of playing to complete, and while doing the campaign quests I will only do dailies that offer anima that are near where I’m questing.
Once I’m done with the campaign I typically have 6 pieces of the covenant gear at 197 and the rest at 190. I kill last boss in LFR for the 1k anima quest and hold it till reset for the weekly quest.
I only do torghast 2 times for the 190 legendary. (You can make one in the first week of hitting 60)
All in all it takes about a week to get from fresh 60 to 190ilvl.
The gear isn’t the best for pvp but it’s also better to have 32k hp and not get one shot.
Also I’m high while typing this so it may not make any sense
