  1. In this chapter (this reset), every time, Sylvanas opens her mouth I just wanted her to shut up. No other character in the whole of Warcraft made me ever wish to just exit the game.
Sylvanas has no reason to be there, nor to be in the raid.
She didn't broke free from the Arthas control cause she had the willpower to do so, she broke free because Arthas was wounded and to weak to keep the control up.

  2. Yeah I honestly kinda dig Sylvanas in this expansion, unlike in BFA where her motivations were unclear and made the story lose its focus. The only thing missing for me (with WoW's standards, of course this story could be better served elsewhere) is like one Sylvanas/Jailer cinematic where we can see an actual working realtionship, based on apparent trust and aligned goals. Would have helped to nuance the Jailer, at least we could clearly see the mask he wore before dropping it. That would have made Sylvanas' turn much clearer.

  3. I honestly like this story more after you have explained it to me, than what I have experienced in game (I quit in March 2021) and various lore videos. I haven't thought about Sylvanas recommending victims to the Jailer and that is really cool plot that I haven't about earlier.

  4. Anduin put the doubts in her head when he told her that The Jailer isn't telling her everything. When he slipped up and said everyone will serve him it clicked in her head that Anduin was right. The one thing she wants is to not be ruled by anyone.

  5. The number of times humans have gone along with some clearly and objectively horrific shit simply because they see a brighter end of the tunnel is almost innumerable. Its a perfectly believable point of view from even a very basic knowledge of history. @11:00
