  1. You know blizzard really basically have a goldmine for community engagement in simply encrypting things that they push to the PTR builds. They dont have to do any big announcements or tweets, our well respected data miners and wowheaders (and similar) will simply tell us about! And then people will just lose their mind trying to figure out what it is, and then once blizzard finally unveils, there will be even more news about it. Its great

  2. Ever since seeing the new gnoll models, I feel my interest/obsession with them as a playable race growing each day closer to such levels as tali's for tuskarr.

  3. My theory: People have been miffed about Calia replacing Sylvanas as the leader of the Forsaken for a long time – but what if she led a new Allied Race instead?

Introduce "The Redeemed", a holy-light version of the Forsaken, not unlike Calia herself. They are born from a subset of the Forsaken who want to rejoin the Alliance, having once been Lordaeron citizens before death. Calia learns of a method of "redeeming" Forsaken via her new powers and takes those members under her wing. They will build their home in an instanced version of the ruins of Undercity, like the Nightborne's home in the instanced Suramar.

Rightfully getting ticked off at Horde members defecting to the Alliance, the remaining Forsaken, led by a Dark Ranger, travel to the husk of the burned out Teldrasil and weave some newly-obtained Death Magic from the Shadowlands to raise some Night Elves into Undeath, who make their home in an instanced version of Teldrasil.

This provides Forsaken for the Alliance and Night Elves for the Horde, while switching their original Capital Cities between Factions.

  4. I'm not sure with Dracthyr being available on 9.2.5 or the pre-patch.

Since their class/race combo is completely new and unique, it seems to me it would be a waste of dev time to make them fit in the current talent system only to get it done again for when Dragonflight gets released.

Unless they release the revamped talent system during pre-patch with the Dracthyr.
