  4. Great summary! I’m a returning player and just discovered wow classic era and love that the social aspect is back. Everyone is willing to help each other again. Not just within guilds, but out in the world.. I will be sharing video this as it articulates the WoW evolution perfectly. Is great to hear that The War Within expansion is trying to strike a balance and appeal to the classic players out there. I might have to give retail another chance.

  13. TBC was Classic +
    Nothing else will come close to that. It added so much to the classes and specs, expanded the world and yet somehow, when you played it, it still felt like Vanilla. It was Vanilla with some very cool additions.

    Wrath, although a terrific expansion, was when the first retail-like features crept in and that was when it stopped feeling like Vanilla did.

  14. If they are going to complete and service to us the unfinished vanilla story, and if they truly want to revive the spirit of vanilla, it shouldn't be called Classic+. They should name it 'The Vanilla.' They should prepare a nice trailer and announcement fitting the spirit of vanilla.

  15. FEED BACK for classic+

    – They need to unlocked all the locked maps in Azeroth and add new quest/story chains.
    – There are total 9 locked map in vanilla Azeroth (with isles)
    – They should add new dungeons and few new raids to some of these locked maps ofc. and design new items/gears fit to vanilla culture.
    – Some of people dont wanna see GDKP – Bots – Multiboxers – gold sellers and boosters. blizz should take this into consideration.
    – BARBERSHOP would be great in vanilla btw. (Except for gender reassignment)
    – We want to see the more lore from; The Great war to warcraft3 in vanilla Azeroth!
    – WE DONT WANNA PLAY WITH FCKN RETAIL SKILLS ofc!
    – We wanna see new races in line with the story of vanilla(warcraft). (maybe worgens cuz worgens shows in 2003 vanilla trailer. maybe high elves, maybe goblins or ogres idk)
    – More world boss and more wpvp events would be good ofc in line with the lore of vanilla.
    – Another arena would be great like grubashi with different chest or reward idk.
    – We dont want flying mounts and transmogs!
    – Paladin and Shaman classes should not be available to both factions. This breaks the vanilla culture!
    – We don't want the awful retail models!
    – We want just the real, completed vanilla!

    I am a 35 year old dad warcraft player, I have cleared vanilla twice before.
    I hope one day they will complete the unfinished vanilla and present it to us…

  19. All Blizzard needs to do is remove the use of Addons, ban bots, ban guilds that sell runs, ban GDKP. There you go, 50% uptick in people being social and possibly not so toxic. Also, they should limit the server size. So people have their individualism back, you don't have to be a streamer just to be heard.

Classic plus wishlist: light-touch class changes, world buff rework (stackable charged chronoboons purchasable with dungeon tokens and BG marks), optional challenges for superficial upgrades (recolours, animation overrides etc.), some QoL like guild banks and LFG bulletin. Maybe some extra modes like arena, horde mode and RBGs.
