Once a harsh and unyielding wilderness, Dun Morogh became the heart of dwarven culture and ingenuity with the rise of Ironforge, a city carved deep into the mountains and glowing with the fires of legendary craftsmanship. Alongside the dwarves, the gnomes thrived in this land with their incredible intellect and creativity, building the technologically advanced city of Gnomeregan. However, their story took a tragic turn when their beloved capital was overrun by Troggs, forcing them to seek refuge among their dwarven allies.

Beyond its iconic cities, Dun Morogh is a land shaped by struggle and resilience. Its snowy landscapes and tranquil villages evoke a sense of nostalgia for many players who began their World of Warcraft journey here. 1. Welcome back to the library! This project has been one of our most ambitious yet—not because of its length or depth, but due to the diverse ways we've chosen to tell the story of Dun Morogh and its inhabitants. Over the course of 28 minutes, you'll experience 252 individual recordings that make up 120 machinima-style scenes, 12 songs, 4 seperate voiceovers—and yes, you're absolutely right, I still dread pronouncing the word "Dwarf"!

I hope you enjoy this journey through the history of Dun Morogh! 📚

  2. Been waiting for this one. Dun Morogh is my favourite zone, started my first character there way back in Vanilla and made hundreds more since just to play through the area again. The music and the general ambience is my safe space away from the world.

  3. My first character was a Human Paladin and I remember the magic of traveling from Elywyn Forest to Dun Murogh, dodging dangers along the way, to meet up with my friend who started as Dwarf Hunter. The world felt so big and full of wonder back then
