World of Warcraft: Dragonflight may not be in Beta yet but that release date gets closer and closer… whatever the release date of Dragonflight is. For it to be a success, there are some lessons that Blizzard have to learn from the failures (and successes) of Shadowlands. We talk content schedules and 10.0 patches, mage tower, the core gameplay philosophy and account-wide progress, unlocks and alt play, Torghast and what rewards key gameplay features should have, the importance of a good Bad Guy (not the Jailer) and how Dragonflight can avoid the same mistakes. 1. Here is how WoW can make a true comeback. Delay expansion by an extra year. Have devs take turns hosting Twitch reaction content to playing FF14 MSQ, through literal tears tell us how wrong they were and make us a good game

  2. I may be wrong but I really feel like the player walkouts, boycotts, and the following mass migration to FF14 scared the crap out of Blizzard. It's been a few months now and they seem to have changed their tune.

I'm still not going to return to WoW unless this change for the better continues into 10.3.

  3. This is off-topic from the video, but I just wanted to say that when I was in the military, and things sucked hard all the time, Taliesin and Evitel were what made my weeks better.

Edit: I just wanted to say that I hope I meet them IRL at a convention or something at some point. 😀

  4. I hope they revive galakrond through what zolval did messing with the forge of souls.

He’d be a terrifying BBEG. He was terrifying in dawn of the aspects. I guess it’d be a scaling issue though to fight him 😕

  5. tbh I prefer that 150-200 days of content patch than rushing it in <150 days

Also astro and perfect audio quality, can't disagree more with that statement.

  6. Honestly, something I really want back isn't even about the game itself but to be able to purchase only one month of game time for 13€ instead of being forced to buy two months for 26€.
Yes I realize I can just get a 1 month subscription and cancel immediately but damn I want my freedom as a consumer to not have to go through the process of canceling back damnit!

    And squeaky shoes.

  8. Hopefully the removal of disposable, 1 patch power systems will free up developers to craft and test patches more efficiently and speed up the release schedule. Hopefully.

  9. Sooo here's a think I was discussing with my friends who still play….I think absolutely there was supposed to be (or could still be?…..nah!) another patch…I base this on the upstairs of Oribos…..every archway has a portal in it…the 4 covenants Korthia and Zereth Mortis….there's an empty archway…..AND where do the Cheshire Cat mounts fit in in Dragonflight? so I think there was supposed to be a place like Korthia before Zereth…and that's where the Cat comes from 🙂

  10. I honestly don't want a big baddie because it always makes the game linier in terms of game design and I'm tired of this horrible borrowed power shit they've been shoving onto us because it literally just feels like they're doing it to give us something to do rather than give us content that is fun AND eats our time.

  11. As soon as they let go of their quality assurance staff, it went right down the toilet. The answer lies there to reverse. Think as a QA consultant I have seen this happen to many, many other companies I weep for the future because this seems to be the trend that is happening in corporate America

  12. Tali, after you talked about how conduits would have been reseved not as bad with shorter patches, I felt something. I awakend my shining and made a prevision of your script.

At this point, you thought about making that same argument as for the conduits for…: korthia. But then you decided to NOT you coward 😀

Thanks for the videao man <3
Hopefully blizz gets on a good way; we deserve it and they to
