Today, we dive deep into World of Warcraft history to explore the Arathi Empire, the first human kingdom to rise in Azeroth. This once-powerful empire united human tribes under one banner and stood strong for over a millennium, only to fade into obscurity—or did it?

In this video, we uncover the lost history of the Arathi people, tracing their mysterious origins and ties to the Vrykul. We’ll explore how the Arathi shaped the rise of human kingdoms like Stromgarde, Stormwind, and Lordaeron, and their pivotal role in the Troll Wars.

But recent discoveries in Khaz Algar suggest the Arathi might not be as lost as once thought. Their once lost empire still exists to this day, hidden deep beneath Azeroth’s surface. We’ll explore these exciting new revelations and the possible impact on Azeroth’s future.

The history of the Arathi is far from over, and what we uncover could shape Azeroth’s future.

  1. Welcome back everyone! With the Arathi making a sudden return in Hallowfall I thought it was fitting to explore the history of this lost empire!

This is a significant tale for the library, it’s the first tale to be sponsored and the last tale that will be made on outdated hardware so hopefully the quality of tales will only improve from here!

Thanks for the continued support everyone, kings honour my friends ⚔️

  2. I'm a little confused.
The Arathi have been in Hallowfall for over a thousand years and have produced generations of children who are now a mix of elves and humans.
But Faerin (among others) was on one of the ships that originally crashed there and is over 1000 years old and looks to be in her early 20s?
    I must have missed something.

  3. “In the 40th year after the dark portal opened where there is only war.”
The hallowfall arathi are very much a Warhammer reference and out of all our Allies in khazalgar these are the ones who might betray us. If the parallels to pandaria hold that is.

  4. fact checker:
first of all – finding new information is not rewriting history, its Updating your knowledge. (@17:15)
Khaz Algar was not unknown – it was unreachable because of a storm. (@17:37) Source: Level up campaign NPC talk.
we know the arathi flew 9days over Dorne before getting teleported down. Source: capatins chest logbook – book item
Renilash is also Ragnarök or the Death of Gods. Important to note.
Faerins Family is definetly NOT nobel. she says that ingame in a "stay a while and listen". she is actually confused that King Arathor was a big Name.
i think no onse assumes the "intentions of the Arathi are pure" xD. they literally warned us to NOT go to the emporer cause they are all xenophobes as stated by Faerin.

personal speculation and infos for you:
its most likly NOT the first Arathi expedition that landed here. this idea is reflected in items and NPCs you find in hallowfall like the Female Chef questline.
why can we teleport to coordinates and Arathi can only teleport to memory locations? as shown by teleporting dalaran to a unkown place. (no memory)
huh they hate light-undead? we shouldnt bring Calia Menethil here xD
use the light to cleans evil sound like the player in Legion. we teamed up with the literal "army of light".

Please See this aß critque and Not as an offens. I love you Content. Great Channel. Keep it going
