  1. Btw they aren't mad cuz of 20 yold game, they are mad cuz they are losing money, blizzard needs to wake the f up, real criminals are running the game, i would feel much safer leaving for turtle wow, atleast they ban bots

  2. pretty sure something already happened with they having all his personal info. You can scare people pretty easily by just sending them something disturbing home. Even if they wouldn't do anything physically for him, they can make their live miserable with knowing their real names and addresses.

  3. yeah, you gotta becareful when you start fucking with peoples money. I doubt a bunch of nerdy bot farmers will do shit but ya never know. Gotta protect yourself and family regardless. They'll get theirs in the end.

  4. Blizzard is really a shitty company, they make a significant amount of money from all the bot accounts. Sporadically banning individual Acc's doesn't help at all as long as this bot mafia is able to do it. The main thing is that the cash register at Blizzard is ringing because they know full well that they will also earn money when they ban. And the fact that in real life people who oppose this bot plague are still threatened is certainly no reason to intervene. Blizzard is and remains a money-hungry mess

  5. dude… are you stupid? he is deleting his content and stopping so he doesn't get more attention by the mafia… and you make a video bringing him into the spotlight again?

its easy to talk about this when clearly you aren't the one getting the death threats

  6. I don't think its particularly sad. I'm not sure what's so hard to understand about this. He has dedicated all of his free time to, simply put, fucking up the lives of unfortunate third worlders. Your perceived integrity of a 20 year old game means nothing to people who are trying to eat food and get their bag LMAO. Really cant blame dirt poor Taiwanese and Russians for wanting to stop him.

Madskillz admitted in this very video that he has no job and no real concerns beyond playing video games. Botters? They need to do this or they are SO fucked. I don't agree with how far they're going, but I can't blame em and Madskillz definitely had this coming.

  7. All very sad indeed. Here's the rub – the bots are the symptom – the actual problem is the buying of gold – no gold buying no market for bots – no gold buying no inflation in the AH or trade – people ask nonsense sums for items because they know there are those who will buy it with bought gold – surely it cant be hard for Blizz to detect suspicious gold transfers to a character via mail, trade etc – their current tech infrastructure logs everything – if its suspicious in amount etc but legitimate that can be verified too – stop the gold buying, ban the gold buyers and the bots will die out. If Blizz are doing this already then they ain't doing it well obviously. Cut off the head of the snake not its tail.

  8. I unsubbed after this. I don’t have that much time for games anymore and with so many great titles out there why waste my time with a subpar experience?

The lack of any meaningful action by Blizzard when it comes to bots and rmt is enough to push me to other games.

  9. To add what most of the others said : You kinda get the Part wrong why hes quitting his videos. These People are not like u said "angry about a 20 year old video game". Those Guys are like a Mexican kartell and he disrupted their Business. I can understand why he is quitting…its all really sad and those people should be caught.

  10. yeah u for sure getting killed IRL for killing bots … im sorry if i dont believe that theres a quote for that: "barking dogs dont bite" … kinda unlucky they got his personal shit but that happen if u use open social media and link ur accs with private data like ur real name homestate etc. … but anyway thanks for the nice video hope hes doing well and nothing will happen!

  11. You downplay what they are mad about. They are not mad about a 20year old video game, they are mad about losing money. Thats a huge difference, especially if they are living in countires with no social secruity or overall bad conditions for low income.

And they do ban.. in waves. Which are absolutely worthless proofen by years of botproblems. Not a single week went by after a banwave where everything is back to normal. PirateSoftware tried to "defend" botwaves, that thats the best way to beat bots, but his take is so outdated and wrong, it just creates to opposites of people who actively see how bad botting has become and his goblin minions that will eat every word he says as facts and defend banwaves as if it's their home country.

If all this is true and botfarms have become a real mafia that threaten peoples life, then this should be brought to the FBI and investigated. And blizzard seriously needs to take things in their hand and starve those botfarms to death, it's insane how little they care for something that made many, including me, quit this game for good. Blizzard is the one who holds all the cards, it's really not hard to ban bots before they become profitable. The player can identify bots in the open world with ease and there are very popular farmspots for bots that sometimes even flyhack for even easier identification. Those bots I had on my friendlists for MONTHS, some never went inactive before I quit myself.

  12. Criminal activity taking place on a platform like wow should attract the attention of law enforcement and even legislatures from the US and EU. This is deeply troubling and I think people often overlook the role government should play in a solution because we infantilize the video game industry.

  13. We are at the point where the level of income is so significant….and the effort required so minimal….that there are almost certainly organised crime groups involved in this. Its at the level where, if those income streams are disrupted, bot farmers can find themselves winding up "punished" or worse. Its like when the scam-hunters bust one of those tech support scammers and they are clearly terrified, not of the authorities, but of their "boss" should they no longer be able to get money from scamming people.

Blizzard has created an income stream for some very bad people….and they really need to do something about it.

  14. The guy did actively provoke the bot farmers for clicks & views here. He did these videos on purpose, and now has realized he's bitten more off than can chew.

Sending death threats isn't right and this should be investigated into – unfortunately It won't.

The best thing to do is report & move on.
