the best video
Terrific overview of the start!!!
good old blizzard
Man I remember waiting for years for warcraft 3 to release. The first image I saw of a 3d grunt had me so excited lol
And now after 20 years, WoW I feel like killed warcraft :/
Great video. I hope all those devs who worked super long, day and night hours making this amazing game made a ton of money for their work
Blizzard must be feeling pretty stupid right now for going forward with the game. World of Warcraft sunk the company. It was an absolute failure that never took off.
Goddamn even till now the classic cinematic gives me chills everytime i see it
boop
I don't know how his sub count isn't higher….. Great job on the video. Love the content!
14:13 i couldn't make a baby in 12 months
I'll never forget those early years. Tons of memories.
I’m late to this video. But it’s done far more than that. This game has made amazing memories for people. Friendships, and even marriage. Yes marriage. My husband and I found each other through this game. And 6 kids later we are 10yrs in and still play the game from time to time. But the memories have been great and I will always be thankful of this. Thank you Blizzard and all the staff for what I’ve received from this amazing game.
@Nixxiom MORE OF THIS PLEASE
This was really interesting – cheers. Wish it had been longer tbh.
Amateur Documentary for sure…. He's focusing on tiny borderline irrelevant factoids… The documentary could have been so much better if he would zoom out… instead of focusing on the development on WoW.. focus on the Legacy of WarCraft… Focus on the industry AT THE TIME. This feels more like a drama storyline that isn't actually unbiased and factual…. the REAL SHIT goes much, MUCH deeper. Where is the focus on the MMO Genre in general? Wheres the focus on the history of RTS and the evolution towards MMO? Wheres the stats and facts? This is mostly an uneducated opinion piece.
Damn…. been watching you for quite a while now and never noticed you are not a million views/video channel.
You would deserve it mate, keep up the great work.
Nixxion i love your videos!
amazing
Great video! thanks for the history lesson! These are the best!
We've got the best of both worlds with the factions now luckily. We can get together for end game content and competitive PvP, but we're still split up where it matters.
It's unique. I love it.
Great video, thanks!
Lord of the rings also came out on the big screen during that time that’s also another reason it was such a big hit during that crazy nostalgic era
Great Video. At Minute 6 I had to leave. Realizing that whatever we experienced is far gone and never to return. Cherished memories fade just as people do. And while we all sought to bring justice to our people (or anything in life) like Arthas. In the end people seem to think life is simply about commanding hordes. This may seem melancholic, but it is an outcry to anyone who reads this to better this world actively, instead of dwelling on old feelings.
So lets make this MMORPG based on our extreme success with Warcraft 3….
Lets not have 2 sides like our successful history has proven works, make them all play together -Said no one with a brain
HAHA DOMINATED MORE LIKE SUQED MAJOR DIQ
PIZZARD ENTERRAPEMENT HA HA !
youre a great story teller
This game came out on my birthday. Then my dad got it for me 2 years later when I was 14. Thanks dad I love you and thanks blizzard for hard work and dreams.
Got me emotional type shi
thanks dude
It did till the dei hires. That and ion.
I wonder what the next big MMO is going to be. WoW has been uninteresting for years now, but there's just no other MMO worth playing. I had fun with New World until I got to the non-existent end game. Gonna try the Dune MMO next. And like everyone, I'm hoping to eventually get a Riot MMO.
I'm proud to have played a part in the success of WoW. As a loyal player for over 18 years and still going, I'm still constantly blown away by the question "how'd they DO that"!? The creativity is what keeps me interested, and I turn 66 this year lolol
I went Asherons Call -> Everquest -> WoW … The golden age of mmos
I remember when they were Blizzard South.
