  1. i hate my hunter right now, i can't wait til they fix the dark ranger, I switched to warlock demon with diabolist and it's so much fun, i don't even care if it doesn't do the most damage, it /feels/ good to play, whereas hunter sucks arsehole

  2. I see an issue coming up in the future with hero talents being how to build off of them further without turning into the same issue they ended up with for normal talents. Theyre great to 80, but what happens when the cap is 90? 100? 120? Could we see another numbers squish somewhere down the line just to keep it all neat and in order?

  3. My Diabolist Destro lock is kinda insane… When I am in a dungeon crit with 'Ruination' and see 5-10% of it's health just disappear is insane and satisfying, I hit lvl 80 and was doing baseline 600k DPS, my Arcane mage couldn't keep up with my destro lock if he tried with all his might… To say I love my destro lock is an understatement, it's really nice to have a destro lock that once again hits' like someone threw the moon at you (sorry druids but your 'full moon' ability doesn't hit like it really should be.)

  4. Meanwhile for those few BM hunters like me that dont want to be discount sylvanus its good that Pack Leader is totally forgotten, completely undertuned in single target and in multitarget and is basically only good for open world or delves….
Thanks for the false-choice of hero trees Blizzard, and thanks for reworking the hero tree already forced on BM hunters while totally ignoring Pack Leader!
Its like shadowlands covenants all over again.

  5. Hero talents should make me feel like I'm a goddam hero, not just be 30% more healing/damage for whatever ability; that's just numbers inflation that don't mean a single damn thing overall in the big scheme of things.

Also, hero talents shouldn't be tied to particular end of tree talents, because that cookie cutters me into having to choose those end of tree talents instead of others, and when you have a choice that actually isn't a choice but rather mandatory, or else your guy becomes broken…well, then you've failed. I may not even like the talent(s) that the hero tree is based around, it might not fit my preferred playstyle.

Any ability leveraged in the hero talent trees need to either be baseline, or placed suchly in the talent tree that you can't avoid picking it on your way down (IE, quite high up, in other words.)

  6. I think hero talents changed nothing for fury warriors or arms warriors. They should do something about that, also, ranged warrior class that plays like Draven in league would be cool.

  7. I think Blizzard did themselves a big favor by deciding to do a trilogy. Normally they would be able to basically run away from their mistakes by having the next expac overwrite them. Now they can't and it's showing. Now it's a matter of if the lessons stick.

  8. Would be great for disc priests to have instant radiant even if it loses a bit of the healing it does with longer atonement so we can be more effective raid healers, its kinda unfair how to provide decent healing we need to know the fight 1000% better then anyone to do a 8sec planned ramp…

  9. History is a 7/10 at most (for now)
Gameplay feels weird and ofc theres a hard meta that if you are not playing you wont get anywhere.
The M+ Rotation frigging sucks, all dungeons are boring, or badly designed.
The so much hyped hero talents are barely noticeable, almost all pasives, with no real gain.
The Constant changing of clases and re-re-re-re-rebalancing they try sucks. You cant play a class like it is cause tomorrow will get nerfed to the ground, or worst, your favorite spec is totally unusable.

  11. I'm not convinced. Honestly, hero talents are up sold board room market BS. There is nothing "Heroic" about them at all. They are just 10 more spec points, repackaged and sold using the same old phycological "New & Shiny" business tactics. They're just regular old talents that could have easily been just plopped onto the end of the talent trees and we'd barely notice the difference and they're shared across specs. So, they have less to work on. Thus, why they can actually fix them in real time. Real hero abilities would have added shared themes across classes. Examples, Necromancy for priests, mages and warlocks. Shadow Hunter for Hunters, Rogues, and Shamans. Templar for Monks, Paladins, Dks. Berserker for Warriors, DH. There are several others people would want. Names might be different. But the intent is the same. Transformative in aesthetic and lore. With related quests for those who want to pursue those forms of power and could be ignored by players uninterested and preferring the original class fantasy. Giving us sub-classes without bloating the already bloated abilities roster. Mechanically the same, in raw numbers. Necromancer is a perfect example. We'll never have them since the specs are already in the game spread across priests, mages and warlocks. So why not just let all three go to Sholomance and "learn" Necromancy and transform Shadow into Soul, Frost into Rime, and Demonology into Lich. Bring back Fel for Destro locks, but also allow Fire mages and Ele Shams become Fel lords. Let hunters ACTUALLY be beast masters and axe throwers. Let Affi-Warlocks and Arcane Mages become Voodoo Alchemists. Let Rogues ACTUALLY be pirates and assassins. Let DH shed their demon form and be like Maiev. Rather than waste all that development time trying to shoehorn in another bracket of talents onto the trees and deal with balancing and numbers. Let's spend time becoming something more "specialized" and powerful for an expansion. Give new players and old a reason to return to those earlier Xpacs and indulge the story beyond time walking BS. The entire god damned concept writes itself. It would basically print money for the foreseeable future of the game and would add relevance and engagement for old content without needing a complete revamp. Want to become a necromancer? Play WotLK. Want to become a Fell Lord? Play Legion and Burning Crusade. Want to become an Elemental scion? Play Cata? Want to become a berserker/soldier? Play BfA or MoP?
