This is on positioning. This is mostly the tank at fault here. Then it went downhill from there. People pulled extra stuff that did not need to be pulled cause of being on that ramp. Should have pulled them back so you did not aggro the boss/anything else. That happened, and it didn't go well from there. Thor got so much shit from this. And still is. It was so much of what he did; it was just how he handled it. He mishandled it. Could had put down a rank 1 Blizzard, frost nova, Etc. Showed no remorse. NOTHING. This pull shows his true character. That is why he still gets so much shit, really. If he just said, "Dude…I am so, so sorry. I heard the call to run out, which I did. I could have done so much better there, but I did not. I don't know what else I can say." If he just said that and just dropped it. Just never talked about it again. He probably would have been fine. For some reason, he wants to stand on this hill and does not see how this shit could have been easily avoided if he just handled it better.. But you are right, People take this Hardcore very seriously. Its a very toxic enviroment.
Thor can be a bit of an ass and does always think he is right but they pulled to much and called for run. Thir ran. He coukd have helped more (and did say later on there where things he could have done better) but at that point everyone was putting blame on him and when that happens people shut down and refute it.
The call for run was fine. Probably a bit early but fine. What got those two killed qas they didnt follow through on run and started fighting again. If they just ran all the way the tank may have died but with heals he should be fine. Its also ozy though and in asmons words hes probably use to that my now.
Also its a game. The only place he should be getting shit from people is ingame. Threats irl is to much
The PirateSoftware drama has been the greatest thing for Anniversary WoW so far. Couldn't have scripted it better. Everyone but the healer has some blame. Pirate takes the least of it and is a giant asshole about the situation, which is why the community turned so hard on him.

Salvageable here means noone needs to die. They asking for nova or blizzard nothing else. In a guild group you running like a group.
You don't just roach out on a Run call. You run, yes, but you tactically retreat as a group. The reason why they changed the call to Fight instead is because the tank CANNOT run. He had 9 mobs slowing and dazing him over and over. So if everybody just runs, the tank dies. Always. In every pull everywhere. The tank needed help to run, and the entire group agreed on this except for Pirate, who only cared about his own character and nothing else, despite the fact that his class, Mage, is the BEST at saving and helping the group survive and he is the one in the LEAST amount of danger, having massive range, instant blink and ice block. He was the one who was objectively in the least danger of everyone and who had the most tools available to help everyone else survive. And he was the first to run away and never turn back. Disgraceful behavior. And to then blame everyone else and deflect his own failings and selfishness away is some of the most narcissistic and egotistical behavior I think most people on the internet has ever witnessed.
Best part is most dont realize yama is outcast for reason😂. No one want play league with him and now everyone sees why. Its fun to watch losers to root for sucker😂😂😂😂

Pirate's ego is wayyy too much, Yamdef exposed that clown. Pirate been behaving like this, even in Ashes of Creation. Tried his same tactics in WoW and the community wasn't having it, now he quit WoW lol. Yamato (with his attitude) wouldn't let this slide, which was the correct thing to do. Asmon also insulted Yamato quite badly I think
Death threats are disgusting. Pirate complained about losing 4 hours worth of materials, imagine 2 people losing over 100 hours each and ultimately their characters, and this Pirate dude laughing about it. That's low
His behavior in Ashes of Creation was terrible, bullying people on the same server, and he tried it in WoW too. I don't think anyone wants him in WoW, it's not good for the community.
With Pirate running(No support), someone was going to die regardless. Be it Ozy, Sara or Snupy. at least the rogue can get away with vanish.
the guy is exagerating and conflating death threats and harassment with people spamming mana gem to him and reacting to his poor gameplay. like are you new to internet or what. the guy is playing the victim while not aknowledging his mistakes to this day.

No one ever publicly said go and hate on pirate. So why would the community be at fault about that? The community is rightfuly calling him out, thats all. The sicopaths willing to go as far as making this death threats which we have "proof" of (won't count any image provided by a proven liar to be proof of anything) are 4. But he banned and reported +10000 accounts? and make a statement backhandedly threating to report streamers calling him out.
Salvageable means the group is salvageable btw, not that they should fight and win against the boss (which they actually could if played better before pirate roached out). And why are you reviewing all this only in yamatos pov? pirate pov is what ignated the controversy. and why your context clips are tyler's (barely understand the situation) and asmon (biased towards pirate, admitedly rage baiting and hating on yamato for views, and objectivebly wrong in his "opinion")? You're setting up yourself to be wrong.
i personally think the key moment that got the priest and warrior killed was when the druid pulled the group near the ramp.
druid gets hit the priest heals him and then draws agro once they are dead the warrior falls fast.
its been years since i last played wow and i must say as someone who played a priest in most expansions there is no way id play that in hardcore its so easy to draw agro if someone else screws up.
