  1. I wonder if Calia could be a vessel of Death infiltrating Light? She might not know she is but she could be like a sleeper agent? This would also make sense with Sylvanas murdering her if she was trying to plant her by predicting the Light would bring her back

  2. Still don't understand as to why some people find it weird that Draka could travel beyond Shadowlands, when Devos and Uther litterally went to Icecrown to collect Arthas's soul in the first Afterlives short.

  3. When back to OMG SPACE ALIENS COME FROM THE SKIES instead of, oh well everything is a lie, dreadlords made everything happen and there’s a giant space war going on. Blizzard we didn’t mean this when we asked to feel insignificant to the story again/

  4. @17:00 – Why would using Fel not be delicious to a Nathrezim?
To be fair, we have Undead who wield the Light, but to do so is excruciating pain. For them the Light is not only this soothing comfort we hear Anduin and others talk about.

  5. Hmm, in Chronicles, there is a name of Nathrezim homeworld – Nathreza.

In the fight with Portal-keeper Hasabel when she opens the gate to Shadow (Nathreza) platform, she states: "Nathreza… once a world of magic and knowledge, now a twisted landscape from which none espcape."
But Lord Eilgar's (dreadlord add) quotes doesn't contain anything that would expand some information on Nathreza.

I just realized that the Nathreza, homeworld of Nathrezim that later joined the void – and demons, must somehow fit to it too. If nathrezim are connected to venthyr, then their homeworld must somehow fit into all of it.

  6. Man Warcraft is looking like an age of sigmar without the end times reset.
They are just recycling so many characters giving them more/different powers in a different setting, using "different realm" in place of the hard reset.

I can't say if it's gonna reach the lows of BFA, but it does seem pretty desperate.

  7. The Archon is probably the Winter Queens sister. Just think about it. Bastion and Ardenweald have always been allies, the Winter Queen says. She also says her sister is “vexing,” and the Archon is mostly opposite the Winter Queen. The Archon wants to rise everyone up into ascension, while the Winter Queen only cares about the job, and everyone else is lesser (kinda hinted at the way just just teleports in, waves a hand, then teleports out).

  8. Nzoth: "The Light has struck a bargain with the enemy of all"

This is now clear that this was not Calia. This was Lothraxion. He is pretending to be an ally to the Light but no. A demon is always a demon. The enemy of all is not Sargeras and the Burning Legion, but the demons. There might be more primal and ancient beings of Chaos and Disorder I think the one who wrote this was "Ulthalesh".

  9. cosmic what? remember when Sargeras himself trembled when the name of the old gods was pronounced and the only way to stop them was to exterminate life itself??? me too, good times

  10. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out, but I get a little wary when we get a reveal of "Everything you knew was wrong, THIS is the final ultimate big bad who was masterminding everything!"

I mean, I get it. The Legion couldn't be the bad guys forever, and Sargaras was going to have to be dealt with at some point. But that could have been an opportunity for a new villain potentially unconnected to the Titans, the Demons or the Void Lords. You could have had a different race of aliens, done more alternate reality stuff, etc. Going into the Shadowlands is certainly interesting, but it had the chance to finally be something not connected to the Legion for a change. Instead it sounds like the villains here will be the ones ACTUALLY responsible for everything. And when they're defeated, then what? The next villain will be the villain BEHIND the villain who was BEHIND everything? If they're going with some notion that the Jailer is some ultimate evil responsible for everything that's gone wrong in the Warcraft setting, that it's been masterminding everything to get to a certain point, then they had better end that logic chain there. Otherwise in a few years we'll get the expansion where "The Jailer was just a pawn that we used to set everything in motion, MUWHAHAHAHA!"

Also, I'm annoyed with how the Light gets treated here. You'd think after untold time spent fighting the Void, they'd be used to dealing with manipulative enemies. But it feels like Blizzard has some kind of issue with the Light being an unambiguously good force when you have so many unambiguously evil forces. I also wonder what role the Light plays in the afterlife, and if Uther's soul was actually meant to rest with the Light.

  11. I'm always down for new lore. I am a bit hesitant because BFA was shaping up to be a great xpac lore-wise. It still has done some really good things but overall I think it was a disappointment. I love the void and the old gods and this xpac was obviously an old god expansion coming out of Legion. The unfortunate part is the actual story of the void took 2nd fiddle to Sylvanas' story (IMO) because we had to get to the next xpac somehow.

I really would have preferred that Anduin take a more front and center role with his experimentation with the void(or experimented at all). This leads to a lust for power and using azurite in questionable ways, and leads directly into the war campaign. It gives the alliance a good story to follow without Wrathion and makes his ex Machina appearance smoother since he is coming to directly help Andi. Wrathion isn't my issue but still.

I think Sylv doing the death and whatever is fine, and there is nothing saying that she couldn't still do all these things but at least the story would be better for the alliance and be more void focused than Sylv dominating the story for 8.0-8.2 besides Crucible of storms, and then the entire time we wait for SL. Even when the story was about the Void because of the war campaign the focus still felt drawn towards Sylvi and now we know why; like no one could see it coming *sigh*.

I really think this is an issue. I'd love to hear someones opinion. I feel like my issue stems from them writing three xpacs ahead of time. Don't they have an A team and a B team? I'd personally rather wait longer between xpacs and have better lore / more consistent xpac quality.

I also think it would be a fun idea for Ardenwield to have two queens. The Winter Queen (TWQ) and her sister The Summer Queen (TSQ). Naturally, they would exchange power over the zone during the appropriate celestial season (Idk what else to call it) and when TSQ takes power the zone turns golden with light, and when the TWQ is in power the zone is blue like we see. TWQ disagrees with her sister (From how she talks about her sister) and is retaining power past her time because of their disagreement, which is part of why the zone is dying the way it is. I thought it was weird that she would sacrifice Ursoc since he supposedly had been there before. He seems like an important figure even on their scale and one would think she knows or at least someone knew that it was Ursoc. I think she purposely killed him to keep her secret. I'm not sure how long people "Live" in the shadowlands but it would seem some are more immortal than others. I would imagine that no one is old enough to remember the last exchange of power. I wouldn't say TSQ is Elune but I guess you could be that fringe.

I think the lore updates/changes can be really fun and interesting. We need a new big plotting bad guy since they tossed the old gods to the side since they made N'zoth look like a bunny with a flashlight behind it and we were just looking at its huge shadow the whole time. The issue is that I don't trust Blizzard with the lore. Some times it's great! Other times it's lacking and leaves me writing fanfic in my head, and no man should feel forced to write fanfic dammit! (And no not the perverted kind)

  12. I think all these forces are False, except for Light. Because the Light is linked to God and Jesus. We will probably join forces with the Light and spread the Bible across Azeroth, at some point.

  13. The jailer says it shortly after we meet him when escaping the maw, "Death comes for the soul of your world" meaning the Nathrizem told Sargares the truth just lied about who actually wanted to turn the world soul . In order to distract from their master while causing 2 forces to work against each other.

  14. Hey Nobbel, I love your videos, they always make me think a lot about lore. 😀 I just replayed a draenor quest, The Prophet's Last Message, and since a part of it kind of touches the cosmic forces, I'd like to ask a question about the Naaru (anyones answer is welcome to be honest, cause I got a bit confused). So, the Void is the opposite of Light, and we already saw a few Naaru going dark because of corruption. However, in this quest alter Velen says quote: But when their death is near, they lose their essence and collapsing into creatures of shadow; – like K'ara did. So eventually an aged/nearing death Naaru will become a dark one or how does this work since they should represent Light? Or were those dark Naaru dark because they were near their demise (as we kill them/see their deaths and in a cosmological sence who knows how "near their death" is measured)?

  15. They look a lot like the gargoyles in revendreth. You say Sargeras found them on a void controlled world. Maybe the void lords put the curse of flesh on them making them look how they do now

  16. Is it just me? Or is that "Hellloooo Everyonnnnnnnnnnne" at the start of all these videos pure cringe fuel?
I Usually enjoy the videos..but I find myself muting them for the 1st few seconds to skip that line.
