  1. I just wonder, if Azeroth would awake once, what next? It seems like end of story. Will be Azeroth still active and habitable, how will we communicate with our titan, will she be corrupted or help us anyhow. I'm wondering where the story of Azeroth would go. Will we need to move out to another planet because it would die without the soul inside and Azeroth would work only through bronze dragons? I don't know

  2. Its the same old cliche that writers use as in they create a lore and they add characters and events together to put together an intricate web that they can reference back and forth as they add more things….due this the right way and you`ll have and endless evolving story….

  3. I can't seem to find the quote right now, but somebody a while back (I think Brann or simply a narrator of a book talking about the Explorer's League) said something about not knowing what kind of evil the sword of Sargeras had disturbed deep below Silithus. Essentially, I think the sword might've hit something deep below, and Xal'atath might be gathering its blood.

  4. Sarg was dominated when he cut into Argus (planet), Argus' soul got into his blade (just like Uther in SL), he stabbed Azeroth to infuse Argus (back??) into Azeroth's heart so creation and destruction could be together once again, creating Azerite. Galliwix's rod turned into Azerite AFTER this happens.
    Imo Azeroth is not a titan, "the last titan" is not Azeroth, she is far more powerful than be just a titan. The Titans inprisoned her to use her power unchecked. Last titan could be Sarg himself but simple things like Azeroth being the last titan or the shiny ball whispering to everyone being Azeroth is just waaay too simple, I expect big twists from Metzen.

  5. I think we would fight with everyone in Midnight. I mean, we can be in the middle of the huge conflict and don't choose sides, just defending our planet and our lives, fighting against forces of the void, the order and the light at the same time.

  6. You're ignoring Alagons speech where he states he's wiped life and reset worlds before. This implies the Titans tend to setup similar facilities on either any word they reach or certainty worlds containing a world soul. There isn't anything special about Azeroth when it comes to the Halls of Origination and part of the Ulduar complex.

  7. Blizzard is at least getting better at "Show don't tell" but it takes longer to get a payoff in WoW than it does in One Piece. And that is saying something as One Piece is older than WoW

  8. old god already DID corrupt the azeroth, what we hear is azeroth, but the already corrupted one. sargi tried to stab her cause shes already corrupted, we will try to heal her and cleanse her from said corruption.

  9. I like Pyro's theory. Sargeras was actually extracting Argus' pure destruction energy to reunite it with Azeroth…by injecting it straight into her heart. The heart chamber. The synthesis of raw creation and destruction produces Azerite, the most powerful material in the universe because it IS the universe. It's the beginning and the end made into solid bricks. This is Azeroth's true, reunified essence, and key to waking her up.

  10. Minor correction: The Old gods would never see eye to eye with anyone. They’d see eye to eye to eye to eye to eye to eye to eye to eye to eye to eye to eye to eye to eye to eye to eye to eye to eye to…..
    Wait I lost count….

  11. It blows my mind that wow has so much lore potential in storytelling, and yet they just keep rolling out garbage writings like BFA or dragonflight. Really feels like they are messing up on purpose.

  12. Xal'atath -> remove 't', reorder letters -> Axalath -> 'x' in Xal'atath is read like 'z' -> Azalath -> l and r are closely connected in many languages -> Azarath -> replace some vowels -> Azeroth.

    Xal'atath is Azeroth, confirmed.

  13. @Bellular, Dont know if you talked about this, frankly i dont remember such episode, but you should really check out what Verimathras says when you meet him in Antorus. He pretty much talks Xal'atath about the heart of Azeroth and about betrayal in the alliance.
