  1. if you got type 2 diabetes body type like the people in this video, Brown rice is healthier.

not going to get into diet and health with asmongold. don't think anyone really follows his lifestyle advice for health reasons.

  2. asmon doesn't know what he's talking in regards to addons and min maxing in retail, addons and min maxing is prevalent in classic as well. this is a discussion about hero talents/class skins. I agree with blizzard not wanting to design op or fun shit because of the game balance hysteria.

  3. i had an interview a long time ago with blizzard and when they asked if i have any questions i asked if they plan on ever having mounted combat (i.e. hunters on nightsabers shooting) the response i received was we already have that i didnt even bother to follow up by explaining what i meant i just went about my day

  4. The advantage and reason to why Brown rice is healthier than white rice is due to having more fiber which is good, but the thing is that they both have an insignificant amount of fiber that it doesn't actually make a difference, so the entire argument on brown rice > White rice was always crap.

  5. If the game is not balanced its not fun. Classic is not fun for retri or prot paladins, or spriest or moonkins or w/e that wont get invites in raid. So game NEED to be relatively balanced to be fun, othervise you will have 20 warriors in a raid. But who am i kidding, asmon burnt out from retail long ago, he is just sitting in his "retail bad" echochamber.

  6. For all we know this could just be a taste what something they have planned for future expacs in the trilogy.
THESE might not be class skins, but that doesn't mean they won't build on them, with the possibility of them ending up as class skins later down the line.

  7. Brown rice has more fiber, which is why it's more difficult to digest.. but that aids in digestion of other foods and cleans out the 'pipes'. Just why everything with high fiber is considered more healthy.. so yeah, brown rice is more healthy. Oh and less carbs.

  8. Yes, the reality of the situation is that you're going to have the best raid option, the best mythic option and the best pvp option and class fantasy and cool factor are going to be irrelevant.

  9. 9:30, exactly. I'm not even new, i came in cata, and left in legion. I wanted to come back but the start of the game is so dull and the end game is too demanding, it's not what i played for in the past and it's not what i want to do now.

  10. I'm so surprised that Blizzard is giving us this new class system with amazing potential and all the players can do is doubt and complain. In my opinion there's no way retail WoW can get any worse so I'm excited to see what they come up with. Can we please just be optimistic about the game for just one final time? We can review bomb the game into the ground if it turns out to be a failure but it's too soon to say anything specific.

  11. dude its a PvE game. who plays pvp anyways…? like 5%? 10% tops?
They dont need to overbalance everything. Just make shit thats fun.
I dont give a shit if another class does 10 or 20% more dps then mine. I want to do some quests, get some WoW lore, kill some bosses and get some epics.

  12. It sucks when you need addons to feed you information because it's so valuable. Addons are nice, but they shouldn't be absolutely necessary to play at a higher level than a kid having fun running around the world. Any raid/dungeon group would expect you to pilot your class well enough to not give them a sense that you're dragging ass. I hated having to track boss abilities, take that into consideration for how and when i use my skills, track all short buffs, debuffs, keep 100% uptime on everything. It's just boring when you feel like you gotta micro or min-max everything. And lets be honest, if you're a for fun player you're not getting invited to anything. Enjoy your mythic+1 and never get to see +15

  13. I Like Asmon and agree with most of what he says but sometimes we gotta call bullshit on Asmon on this one first he doesnt play seriously (for 1 year) more like since Legion and he was actually one of the worst offenders of a player wanting to parse instead of doing the mechanics in raids by his own admitions… he is carried in everything PVE in WOW he gets carried in Mythic plus, does normal raids without knowing mechanics and perma dies blames the design, gets Hard carried in PVP, doesnt farm just gets ppl to give him gold he knows nothing about wow he is missing the all picture of why Wow is failing because he doesnt play the game.

  14. At this point, I think Blizz comes up with these gimmicky reworks/bolt-ons to perfectly fine systems, precisely because they know they can't pull it off.

So instead of designing new raids, dungeons, gear, lore, storylines etc (which is all we wanted)… they can spend all their time fixing "systems" and selling that as the feature. "Look we fixed the thing that nobody asked for or was excited about"

  15. They legitimately need to do a WoW 2. That is the best answer but the problem is I don't think their current team has the talent to develop it. We're seeing this with a lot of companies adopting modern values and diversity above work ethic/talent and largely female hiring over male. Look at Ubisoft for example. Male leadership and vision is seen as toxic especially when they're white. In the end what we're left with are empty husks of studios and longing for a bygone era when phrases like "sjw" or "woke" were contained to Tumblr and AAA games without microtransactions were normal.

Blizzard was also specifically hit by multiple huge scandals that got rid of a lot of employees that really screwed them over as well and I think was the nail in their coffin. I doubt the company will recover at this point unfortunately and we'll be talking about what Microsoft will do with WoW and other former Blizzard IPs within a few years.
