  1. an asterisk though, final fantasy xiv has had this and has it for the next expansion pack too but it's for every edition as long as it's a pre-order. No need to get a deluxe or a super-deluxe.

  2. It never ceases to amaze me how video-game companies used to pay lots of QA testers to beta-test their games, and they've since learned that they don't need them as much, and that instead, they can make the most passionate consumers pay to beta-test, and those willing to pay even more will be there to make the final quality control a few days before global release!

  3. For me the more annoying thing is including beta with the more expensive edition. I am testing the game for you, after you decided to lay off a bunch of QC staff. Because it's more profitable to have beta testers pay the devs rather than the other way around.

Early Access also annoys me, but for a game where a good chunk of the playerbase know that have decided they are going to play the next 10 years of expansions already, Early Access is just a "Shrug. Buy."

  5. 16:00 I really hope Blizzards start to actually do something about this. They say the same in every Expansion. "We dont want you to be forced to play.." But in the end, you are. But not only in Talent choices, but also gameplay choices. I really, really wanted to play 1H Fury Warri, but its unplayable. Even with the Stone in the Ring that said "Auto Attacks apply 3k damage on-hit" is hiddenly nerfed to do only half damage with 1H Weapons.. Blizzard needs to stop regulating so much and let players actually experiment..

  6. The solution to not being able to have Earthen DK's isn't to figure out a lore way to make it happen for those who are butthurt about it and insist upon it, it's to just get rid of the Earthen completely. A 3rd Dwarven race is just boring and lazy.

  7. Hunters do need some talent tree optimization (especially MM).. Like putting at least SOME of the AoE upwards so if you spec single target you don't lose 99% of your AoE (you don't even get multishot for fck sake, let alone trick shots.

It's nice we were able to specialize into whatever, but if you didn't want to switch builds for literally every fight ahead of you, you ended up suffering A LOT. Unlike, say, retri paladin or something that even specialized maintains full toolkit to deal with every situation (losing maybe 20% efficiency instead of like 80% like hunters, especially MM hunters)

AND PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, GET RID OF RAPID FIRE. It's an ugly, absurdly unrealistic skill that looks and feels out of place and generally doesn't fit hunter at all! We don't have assault rifles, we use bows, crossbows and glorified muskets! Just replace it with a arrow that causes big bleed or something, I don't care, just GET RID OF IT!

  8. Yeah by that logic on the early access topic..
Wow got its success because it is the best mmorpg, very different from the others and unique interface etc.. if we say that “every other rpg does early access” we will soon say wow its just like any other boring mmorpg.. if they keep ignoring the little things that make wow what it is.. in the near future we won’t have a good game anymore..

  9. Standard access works for me…I work long shifts on weekends so I wouldn't get to play much of the early access anyway anyway…release date being on a Monday is ideal as I got 3/4 whole days to play till I'm back at work…sorted! 😁

  10. In response to the criticism about damage trinkets for tanks and healers – I get it, when there's not much to do, you want to do more damage. That said, I think Blizz is right, even if they need to improve the implementation. I'm tired of tanks specifically being absolute gods, being top damage and healing as well as holding agro. Especially noticeable in dungeons, this issue needs addressing. Tanks shouldn't be the best at everything. They need to have their damage and healing output dropped hard, and threat increased to compensate. Healers shouldn't be worried about doing damage; there should be consistent necessary healing, preferably low to mid level group damage or high tank damage that needs mitigating and can't really be avoided. The power imbalance is rough, and does need work.

  11. As a healer main I really don't like design which leads to healers being 'simple rotation DPS, heal only when absolutely necessary,' because that's not the class fantasy I'm wanting to be a part of. I'd prefer that there are more options to do a bit of damage via healing, like the paladin ability that hits an enemy and heals nearby allies or heals an ally and hits nearby enemies. More healers could do that, imo.

  12. I like early access tactic.
What's better than having morons pay for you to have a better budgeted game??
I hope WoW adds 500 $ skins too 😛 and fomo bundles with 90% useless items.
