Welcome back to MarcelianOnline! Today we’re scrutinizing the wow hero talents and raise some concerts after seeing some of these like the new priest hero talents or hunter hero talents.

We’ll explore the fantasy of these starting from the name and ending up with some conflicting mechanics like the dark ranger hunter’s black arrow. We believe there is real concern with some of these and hopefully you watch until the end to understand where we’re coming from!

  1. As usual you've made some really good points but unlike normal, you've also made some really bad points that I don't agree with in the slightest. For example, why would anything think "Mountain King" is a better name than "Mountain Thane"? 'Thane' has just as much of a fantasy feel to it without the downside of being generic and boring. Also, MoP may have been kind of a flop at its time but now the Pandaren are such a vital part of wow that it just wouldnt be the same without them. Developers have to change things from time to time to keep it interesting. That being said, You are right in that they need to build on whats already there instead of missing the mark as it seems they might with some of these hero talent builds.

  2. Theres about 40 hero specs. Of course some of them are gonna be less cool then others. In a perfect world all of them will be as cool as dark rangers, but its kinda tough to do.

  3. Oracle is unpopular and getting reworked because most people don't want another support spec. Sure, they would have another Hero tree option, but then it becomes the illusion of choice. If they want to add another support spec, do that from the ground up. Don't try to make one with Hero talents.

Dark Ranger talents are probably the worst of them all – so far. Not only does it not leave room for MM Hunters to use all their procs, half the talents don't even do anything for BM Hunters. In fact, the only way to make them work for BM would be to drastically alter the base talents. Something they have said they want to avoid at all costs. Also, with the core ability being a ranged attack, the tree does significantly more damage for MM due to their Sniper Training Mastery.

  4. I get wow is based off Warcraft but why does wow have be compared to Warcraft every time something new is introduced to the game? I don’t think blizzard ever said that all these names were in Warcraft. They obviously added some that were but some that aren’t. If you’re saying it’s not Warcrafty because it’s not a copy and paste from Warcraft ?

  5. Anything that’s not classic ish will always be compared to the early 2000s. Retail is a living breathing game that will adapt and will hit some home runs and will shit the bed on others. It’s still by far the best mmo and will continue to be.

  6. I think the real problem is that every class feels sooo overfried. There is so much bloat baked into each class. Rotation priority lists are like 20 lines long… Super overwhelming for casuals and new players. I get that the complexity of the classes allows for more of a skill ceiling however. There is a fine line of complexity each spec should have, and it is wayyyy too high currently imo.

  7. “`An oracle is a person or thing considered to provide insight, wise counsel or prophetic predictions, most notably including precognition of the future.“`

Sounds like the prophet Velen to me. Everyone should know what an Oracle is and how they fit into the WoW universe based on this Wikipedia definition, and there are several Murloc, Naga, Troll, Dragonkin, and even Vrykul enemies with "Oracle" in their name.

  8. Hero talents are amazing. Developing class fantasy even further is important. We need to get away from this feeling of not being able to accept new changes and give things a try. I think a lot of the voices on the internet are attuned to needing WoW to stay the same all the time and any change is somehow an end to the game. I’ve seen the same kind of people in jobs over the years who complain and moan the moment something new is involved in their job and those kinds of people are never good for anyone.

  9. World of Warcraft is going woke …. We don't need that, we need the game that we all enjoy and that excludes political things. We need the game that rewards your hard work and dedication without boooooring dailys. We need WOW to be WOW again, we want to play and live through the experience of the lore being applied to our characters in a right way.

  10. IMO WoW is developed by a completely new crew that knows little to nothing about it. Hell some youtubers know more about that game then the etire crew oO There are so many cool "names" and conecpts in the lore to use but … nope just some AI generated names for a fantasy setting
