  1. Day 4 of posting for warriors. Can we see something with threat generation with warrior tanks? Thunderclap/devastate runes are nice but the threat generation even with alpha buff from a shaman doesn't even compare to what a lock tank can put up. In our most recent Gnomer raid I couldn't do anything to keep my threat above the lock tank. I know I know I know, warriors were OP in era and I get that they had their time in the spotlight but there are still people I assume that want to keep playing a warrior and even tank with one like myself. I'm fine with them not topping the dps charts I'd rather tank than dps as I always have.

Hear me out here… What about a instanced “training building” where Guilds can bring they’re raid team and summon bosses/mobs (only ones that they as a guild have defeated) to kill again in that instance. It could be something similar to the nightmare zone in RuneScape. I could see a number of different ways to approach it, seeing how far you guys can survive waves of trash/bosses, choosing any mechanic you’ve seen and adding it to another boss and redo the fight etc, what do we think?

  3. Hear me out, make dungeons 7 man not 10 man. That way you still only need 1 healer and tank while gaining 2 flex/dps spots to account for phase attrition.

    I think this will be easier to tune as well. You could go all out but could also just increase mob Health and add to trash packs and increase loot drops on a few of the bosses. 10-man would require too much I think.

  5. Krispe's idea on making every raid 10 man the next phase and onward sounds hype!

    You've changed my perspective on the XP boost Sky. I was more against it previously (i'm a classic Andy lol) but the fact that these are seasonal servers, it is definitely crucial because you want everyone to experience as much as they can before the phase ends and then it becomes "old news" for lack of better words. I think that will also help in the long term because the developers can have such a larger sample size on what the playerbase liked and didn't like.

    My theory:

    When they re-release SoD into a formal Classic+, they'll have such a longstanding experiment (from SoD) with the data, analysis and opinions to really perfect the entire game. You want as many participants as possible, from the top 1% to the most casual player.

    We're essentially in the beta right now so I'm completely open now to the team experimenting and trying anything. The fact that they're listening and reading to what both you and the rest of community is saying makes me extremely optimistic for the future.

    I think when the curtains of SoD close, we're going to get the best flavor of Vanilla WoW yet.

  6. I have a fix for STV and PvP in general. People don't have enough health to handle how every class can one or two shot.

    STV is such an amazing concept but in all reality? PvP is really bad this phase. All it is is waiting for 2+ minute CDs so you can get one shot or do the one shotting.

    My answer? Instead of increasing stamina? Add resilience into the game. Fixed. Completely. Tune the % as needed dependent on gear.

    P.S. The fact that cloth DPS gear decreases your health when we're in a meta where everyone can be one shotted?

    It feels so, sooo bad. I love PvP, but I don't even want to touch it right now. It feels so absolutely terrible.

  7. Regarding PVE, I really hope sunken temple is a 10 man raid that gets released a week or so after next phase, but they also release the 20 man raid a little bit after sunken temple. I really like having layered progression makes the game feel larger and gives me more to look forward to within the phase instead of just waiting for next phase's PVE. However, I worry/know this may worsen the gatekeeping "6/6 gnomer clear… mythic retail raider… wanna be GM… insert CV and resume here" mentality 🙁

  8. honestly if they focus on banning bots and then the bots just make new accounts that actually gives bliz more revenue right? because ur account doesn't get refunded if ur banned? so there is literally a monetary GAIN blizzard has for banning bots

  9. Heroics sound good, literally just for fun… If they add badges it could be used to buy new head and shoulders enchants, just like in TBC or even decent Heirlooms.
    When the time comes, I would love to see BRD as 10m raid.

  10. An interesting aspect of the Ashenvale event was that it was a PvE event. Maybe they should create a timed PvE event that gives rep with perhaps the main factions, or some new faction that gives nice rewards. A mount for getting Exalted with a new faction that is linked to a 3-hour PvE event where you as a group destroy Twilight Hammer cultists or something. Maybe the amount of Twilight Cultists that gets killed spawns some rare bosses or mobs that can also drop some cool gear and have it be group based just like STV.
