  1. That's nonsense. It's because this game is a generational phenomenon. The playerbase keeps getting older while the content gets more convoluted. It has nothing to do with your assumption of a gearing welfare state. You just want to gatekeep your high keys. The majority of the playerbase shouldn't bow to the egos of the top .1%. They are putting in less effort cause their lives are much more demanding than it was when they were teenagers 18 years ago.

  2. You get what you put in, if I’m clearing mythic+ at the highest level and or comparable I should be rewarded with thugs equal to the highest ilvl stuff (mythic) but since I don’t do progression raiding I shouldn’t expect it because I didn’t put the time in to raid. Also the average player gets worse because people generally have less time to play, and MMO’s are not exactly a new player friendly game. I’ve been on and off this game since beta I have over a decade of experience vs someone who’s joining and doesn’t know what an auction house is.

  3. That's a Classic Andy thing to say, Naguura. New player here (DF S2 start): The learning curve for this game is extreme, and it's more about looking things up online than actually playing the game. I have more hours on Firefox than WoW.

  4. My take on this has always been the crazy amount of shit one must do to perform optimally. I'm not sure what it's like now, but, Arcane Mage's rotation is a great example. Not to mention all the different trinkets, or talent trees, or game modes requiring different playstyles… And, have I mentioned how disgusting mechanic inside of M+ and Raids have gotten? We're getting worse and worse because the game is outpacing everyone. It's not us sliding backwards on the bar, it's the bar getting longer and we're remaining where we are.

  6. The problem is half the community say it’s too hard to play wow so no new players join then the other half says it’s too easy pretty much along the lines of this video. You can never win and make everyone happy.

  7. People complaining about how they dont want a game to be a job. I don’t want the game to be oriented on losers who only raid for god knows what when they boosted through the whole game anyway.

  8. Wow was created as the easiest MMO and had 2 factions separated that was thought to be stupid and would never be liked turns out that is what people liked as wow surpassed all those my point is your take is bullshit and the game is dying because people like you came in

  9. Yep i agree. The only thing thats fun is M+ and harder raids cause its challenging. Just look at levling, its so easy you basicly cannot die even when pulling 10 mobs. So many people disagree and i dont get it, what you gonna do with max gear if not push your character? sit around and do +12 keys? its an mmoRPG, you are supposed to make your character stronger by doing harder stuff. And yeah i have a job and obligations, thats why i wont get glad or push past +20. And thats completely fine. I dont want free handouts that just devalues the rewards skilled players get.

  10. Its not about to be easy Ms Nagura its about Retail WoW sucks you only make raid and M+ is not like wow classic or others expanions. Blizzard Make this game sucks you make the same dungeon again and again and again for what …. you get any reword the 0,1% xDDD

  11. Part of the reason is how M+ is designed this expansion we only had to do 16 keys to get top gear previously. Now you're required to do 20s and the skill just is massive also keys this expansion have been tough on healers more than ever effecting groups. So asking players who were only doing 15-16s to do a 20 or higher is the real reason they're getting worse.

  12. LOL it was never a hard game in the first place. It consumed a lot of time because you had to repeat the same thing over and over again but not because it was that challenging, it's just how the game was back then. Over the time devs had made the gameplay a lot smoother and efficient so you can have a life and play the game at the same time. I really dont see how that is an issue xd. Also finding experienced players in this game is easier than in literally any other video games.

  13. The game isn't made just for you. If you want to be an elitist go play mythic.push your keys up to Thirty. Go for rank number one in your specialization. That being said, would I love to see a reason to have a freeze trap. Or a polymorph in a dungeon again, absolutely. What would I like to do that and take away from the experience of those people that may not be as skilled.no I don't.

  14. While it is easier to get gear, that is not what is making people "worse" at the game. To get higher level gear, you need to clear higher level content, and at that point you need to practice and know the mechs. People are still playing the way they have always played, that is what I have noticed. Nothing has really changed.

Also, the average wow player has always been worse than the average FFXIV player. One reason is that WoW didn't teach players how to handle mechanics from low levels all the way to max. Also, many WoW players depend, and I mean DEPEND, on addons to complete content. They have no desire to get better. WoW also has an epidemic of people who can't handle a wipe or two and just want to be carried through content. It is annoying to join groups and deal with that crap.

Let us not forget the meter warriors, who care more about competition on the meters than the actually fight and will not respect mechs because they don't want their parse to suffer. Oh, and the healers than just spam heals so they can be tops on the meters, and run out of mana halfway through the fight.

Let's not forget how toxic people are to other people when they do mess up. Instead of helping them learn they berate them and a lot of people bolt and never bother getting better because of that.

And of course, many WoW players just want to tank and spank, they don't like the more complex mechanics.
