Basically you can now Vendor Azerite Pieces for Gold. If you have massive piles of Residdum sitting around like I do, now would be a good time to take advantage of this method before Blizzard converts it into a small amount of Silver when Shadowlands launches. It is believed that Blizzard’s conversion will be 1 Silver per Residuum, or 200 gold for 20,000 Residuum – whereas this method will net you about 8,000 Gold for 20,000 Residuum. I believe that purchasing the 175 TR Chestpieces is the most efficient Gold per Residuum at the moment, but I haven’t tested any other pieces.
Here is the macro to purchase / “open” the Azerite with one button press:
/run BuyMerchantItem(6)
/click StaticPopup1Button1
/use Relinquished Azerite Chestpiece
The parenthetical number in the “BuyMerchantItem” line may have to be changed for you. If your vendor is not selling any Azerite Essences, then ” /Run BuyMerchantItem(3) ” is what that line should say. Basically the number in the parenthesis equates to the item slot you are trying to purchase from. So change it accordingly to match the 175 TR Chestpieces.
Also, it is much faster to just sell the Chests back to the vendor you purchased them from instead of walking outside like I did.

Be sure to read the description for the Macro and some information on how to use it!
Also you can just sell the items back to the vendor after opening them, you don't have to walk outside like I did.
Thanks to Ekat for the idea!
