Today i qued into guardian druid fire mage ( as healer /dps ). The guardian did 10k dps and killed us both in less than 30 sec while we couldn't cc or do anything to him. We stopped playing. im done with pvp until they make some meaningful changes.
tbh homie bottom line is this…..there are too many other great games out there now that paying to play a game you are having to force yourself to have fun playing or trying to find ways to make it fun for you cuz its not otherwise……at some point its better to just cut your losses bro, or even just a good break from it. Smoking copium and wasting the next w.e years of your life isn't a viable strat my guy.
I've commented it before here and stand by it- these guys just don't have any control over the game. They don't know what levers to pull to produce a desired balancing result because of all these overlapping modifiers and systems stacked on one another. It's a futile effort to play this game looking for a satisfying, fair, competitive PVP experience.
I agree. Me and my regular partner were getting so frustrated in 2s because too often we just queue into unhealable damage from DHs, assa rogues, and hunters, etc. who can't cross CC to save their lives and win anyways. My partner has somehow already gotten duplicates from the vault this early in the season and we have no tier between us. Probably not going to bother pushing seriously until we get our tier pieces and some meaningful tuning happens. Some of these sets I don't understand how they went live in this state.
imagine Blizzard testing their product before releasing it and getting the data themselves, instead of just using us as beta testers for 3 months every patch
Mark I couldn't agree with you more on this, I main resto druid It isn't fun for me at all I feel like everything I'm doing was perfect in that arena match yet I still lose and I feel so useless and its like there's a weight on me I don't know where, I die in 1 stun while I pre bear and barkskin I might sound crazy when I say this but 100% something is off and It's not me
Make some boomy videos pls. I played Druid forever I watched and sub to you cuz IF I play resto your play style suits my play style of hybrid healing, utility man and damage but I have not crossed that bridge yet 😂 then switch to feral until bfa. Even though feral is meta now or been meta. I enjoy playing boomy more and with all this grind since bfa. I opted in to just playing boomy plus I mostly play random bgs. Yeah I’m a filthy casual lol but that necro star fall build looks sick and your play style is dope to watch. Also been waiting on double legendary videos and no one been posting on pvp boomys.
While I do agree with you that the bitching does get old and tiresome, closed mouths don't get fed. There's plenty of ways to voice your concern about the current state of the game in a positive way and one of those are just straight up not playing it anymore. I don't believe we would of even got some of the changes we are getting or have gotten (shuffle/cross faction/etc) if people were not vocal or just said enough is enough and unsubbed.
couldnt agree more, if you're lucky you get full set by week 4 (assuming no raiding) meanwhile I have 4 alts and 1 set item between them, ill probably be looking at 12 weeks post patch to even be able to compete…fun…
Agreed… but on the back of people not being where they should be… what about all the glad boosters I keep meeting.. constantly from 1400+ … its such a joke
I just don’t participate in SL pvp. Easy. I feel bad for people still ‘addicted’ to such a garbage product. But some people seem to actually enjoy it; good for them, I guess; the game has passed me by though.
Got duelist in 2s on my RDruid but still stand at 1.5k in 3s.. my friends don’t even wanna bother without a single tier piece. Definitely feeling you man!
I try to unlock as many vaults as possible to maximize gear chances. I only do pvp slots but I’ve done 48 slots so far in S3 and it’s been 16/48 trinkets. Imagine.
I agree with a lot of the things you mentioned. From a "what is the best expansion" point of view, I am not going to mention Shadowlands for the debate. But I am going to say that (taking my age and nostalgia into account) Shadowlands is the expansion I have enjoyed the most. But how can that be when everything is unbalanced etc? Because I do what I enjoy, and don't do what I don't enjoy. I am a Resto Druid healer as well. 3v3? Im not touching that with the far end of a stick. Healing 3v3 even at low rating is stressful, not enjoyable, and often incredibly out of control. Am I just bad? Maybe, but playing 2s in Shadowlands on the other hand has been my most enjoyable WoW experience in probably a decade. Never before has a Resto Druid been able to actually get in there and make things happen. And the flexibility in doing so, I'm going to say it's almost perfect. Go Necrolord, get your dot pressure amped up with Adaptive Swarm. Literally keep up with the dps of your partner, set up a maim+shackle to actually force a healers defensive *as a healer*. Go Nightfae with FE the Elder Druid lego, boom, now you have that nuke potential. Go Balance affinity to mix it up for starsurge crits. You can go 40% dot+rejuv bonus lego, you can go Verdant. Flourish is a fun and good way to play, but so is double rejuv. It is so flexible, so active and so fun whereas in the past a Resto Druid was pretty much only meant to hot, cc and use mobility to run, still applies to 3v3. It has been insanely fun and when they remove covenants in the next expac (which probably leaves us without the damage potential they provided) I'll miss it dearly. To me, Shadowlands is probably going to be a great ending point to the game that has been a staple in my life for almost 15 years, where Shadowlands is probably the time it was finally perfect for me. I'm happy with the expansion, after 10 years of not breaching 2.1k (capping at 2362 in Cata before) I finally managed to hit one of my alltime goals of 2400 with my old ass reflexes. Consider me satisfied. I'll keep peaking at the content and might return if Resto Druids can pump in the next expac. Anyways long ass rant but all I can say is have fun man. We all love to watch you have fun, so if "3k grind with X and Y" if less fun to you than "MACHINE GUN STARSURGES STRAIGHT THROUGH WALL" then by all means, pump those surges!
Taking break now myself.. got 2x 291 lego but no friends still playing. Decided to wait until set crafting is unlocked and enough conquest cap to get 4 tier set. Hope by then things will have improved.
I'm having a blast on my outlaw rogue. I get every minimal buff I can get and make the tankiest build possible I only have 58k hp and not even queuing with a healer

100% agreed. wish it was easier to play alts but i guess we'll have a little s2 throwback in the sub 1k brackets.

Very good video caus of i starten to feel it aswell. The negativity only thing for us plebs it hard to get the rating over 1700 ATM.
