Top 10 LEAST GOOD RAIDS in World of Warcraft

Read more about World of Warcraft ➜ https://worldofwarcraft.mgn.gg

Wow’s biggest selling point has always been their raids, but some are obviously better than others, which means some will be at the bottom by default. WoW doesn’t really have universally hated raids, but it does have some that people don’t like as much as all the others, which is what this list will be going over.

  1. Dragon Soul is hard as fuck, the reason it has 'only' 8 is cause well, let's be honest. Being on that dragons back…. yeah, fuckin Deathwing. The Lore of this is my favorite of any raid, and I feel like the Dragonflight expansion was based partially on the Lore of this raid. It use to be 1 of my least favorites but now, I really love it, even if I've never got a mount to drop from it, again, ugh.

  3. I played a ton in WOTLK and Ruby Sanctum is so forgettable. I wish they would use the other portals in that place. I actually loved Mount Hyjal, being in an outside raid area like that was awesome, the only thing I didnt like was the way adds spawned. But the trash dropped a lot of good gear which was cool lol

  4. I watched this video to be vindicated in my belief that Mt Hyjal is WoW's worst raid. I came back to the game in February and the basic premise of the raid is…..fine, but when you are doing solo runs to get transmog gear, the entire Horde camp section takes the bulk of the time. I would finish the first 2 bosses and their add waves in 2 minutes flat, but still spend 30 minutes in the raid every time. I was taking 10 characters (eventually 11) thru it for 8 armor sets and at the end my Shaman was running just Rage Winterchill for 4 weeks straight for his fucking gloves. The last 2 weeks I even had a second Shaman running it.

If I never go into this raid again it may be too soon.

  5. I like Battle for mount hyjal the only dislike i have of it now is when solo farming it for xmog as a melee class that 2nd part with thrall and having adds that fly is so annoyingly tedious cause im sitting here spamming herioc throw or whatever ur one range ability is to kill a wave of flying mobs. Idk maybe im weird to like that raid but i dont think its the worst in wow. Imo the worst raid in wow are Raids such as Dragon soul where u just fly/teleport to each fight or single room raids like Malygos and trial of the crusader.

  6. idk back in tbc i thought Hyjal was the coolest raid ever made, actually played WC3 again after clearing it for the first time.

for today its lackluster sure, but in tbc times? man that shit was awesome

  7. Crucible of Storms being on this list is a crime. Uu’nat is one of my favorite bosses of all time. It’s true that many mechanics in BfA blended in with each other because of the void themes, but I don’t really remember CoS being worse for that than Nyalotha etc. Also the first boss had that cool mechanic where you have an interrupt rotation for the adds in the intermission so they kill each other without killing the raid.

Though I do concede that I only killed Uu’nat HC twice IIRC, but I was also pretty casual back then.

  8. I actually kind of really liked Tomb of Sargeras, at least Heroic (never did mythic). Had a lot of fun raiding with my guild that tier. Demonic inquisition was probably my favorite. I was playing Feral back when bleeds were very important so my damage always sucked on that fight having to constantly reset them but still a lot of fun.

  9. I raided Vanilla through end up WOTLK and came back during BFA. I would say Vanilla was the most interesting time because the raid servers were completely overloaded for 2 months and wasn't fixed until AQ40 came out. I'm talking every raid night being like playing on 500 ms ping. It made MC and BWL things of memes because boss mechanics would just stop working entirely.

BC had the best raids imho out of the original 2 expansions except for Mount Hyjal as pointed out. You just had to sit there and deal with waves of trash until a boss showed up 10 minutes later. Killing Archimonde was pretty fun though.

WOTLK had a lot of stinkers. My guild had all the realm first kills and we cleared Naxxramas 5 days after the expansion came out with all greens and blues. Then there was Malygos which we killed 4 days after. Ulduar didn't even come out until 5 months later so we were stuck farming a repetitively faceroll easy raid in one night. Trial of the Crusader wasn't bad, it just wasn't interesting. The highlights were definitely Ulduar and ICC: everything else was just garbage.

  10. I enjoyed The Battle for Mount Hyjal, mainly because at the time it was favorite moment in WoW's lore, but I can still like it and acknowledge it comes up horribly when compared to other raids.

  11. какой то обрыганый топ, пандарский мсв худший рейд вообще. Где ульдуар, где цлк, где престол гроз, где найтхолд, где литейка? что тут делают рейды катаклизма я вообще в ахере

  12. Hyjal's boss mechanics were flawed in that they didn't have a ton of counterplay, and only some of them were deadly. 1st boss randomly frost stunned people, 2nd sleeped random raid members and spawned infernals on people's heads which required a tank in fire res to pick up. 3rd had a cleave tanks shared and you couldn't go below 3k mana or you blow up people around you, 4th hit tanks hard asf, had a rain of fire, and put lethal marks on people that killed them and spawned a doomguard when they expired, and final boss was just so needlessly chaotic, with weird mechanics and fire everywhere. Looking back on it, hyjal was easy but the bosses decided to screw over random people on every fight.

  13. About Crucible of storms. Go listen to Preach. So Mythic crucible was designed around guilds who had mythic Jaina on farm, which was like the .001% of the player base. The loot was shit, but the fights themselves and the raid itself is a screamer.

  14. While many say Wrath of the Lich King is the best expansion ever, I can't help but think how inconsistent in quality the raids were. On one hand you have Ulduar and Icecrown Citadel which are widely considered the best raids of all time. On the other you have Eye of Eternity, Trial of the Crusader and Ruby Sanctum which were all complete shit. (Also Naxxramas which was just copypasted from Vanilla). TotC especially left a sour taste in my mouth (Screw you, Garrosh and your stupid Horde butt monkeys!)
Nostalgia sure blinds a lot of people.
