Liked the video, I like when youre talking about more feedback instead of tier lists atm. I think something that might fly under the radar that definitely falls under #1 passive dmg/healing is LEECH. This is still an rng drop that when accumulated to high percentages can lead to substantial differences in performance.
I’m not a prepurchaser of xpac’s. I’m still on the fence and undecided as to if I’m going to purchase SL or not? So far I can’t find a class/spec that excites me. I’m pretty underwhelmed with prepatch thus far.
Make more BGs and Arenas and, if possible, create new mechanics for them.
Use more of the world, not only the four to six expansion zones. Make the "World" on "World of Warcraft" be meaningful again. Incentivate exploration. Create secret rooms/buildings and stuff.
Great video! Constructive and helpful…. I’ve always had an issue with balancing. FOTM is frustrating but to be competitive you almost have to choose other class/specs. For the last 2 xpacs you have to play all 3 dps specs even if they’re not as fun. This also makes it challenging for hybrid dps specs:(
So i don't know this guy but his complaints seem overly bias. Like i can tell he's way more into pvp then he is into pve. I wonder how many times he's tried to pvp against someone and complained that they only won because they healed themselves. Nothing wrong with being bias. Everyone is to an extend esp in wow, but I think he is going a bit over board with the complaining. I believe they call this whining, that thing a baby does.
I am most worried about gearing via PvP. All I want is to be able to gear via only PvP and feel useful. BfA has been the worst possible thing for that. I like to PvE, but I don't want to have spend 100x the amount of time PvEing just to have fun in PvP.
In WoTLK you could have a couple a competitive characters, either PvP or PVE. In BFA, forget it, that was totally undoable for most people. Only people in solid raid guilds and enough time committment to actually be able to raid could have a shot. If Shadowlands falls in the same trap, more players are going to quit this game.
Passive healing is just silly. Quit making this game easier for noobs, or perhaps limit the effects to open world content so that you can level a warrior without dying every 2 minutes, but once you reach max level, it flat out stops working. By making the game "easier" to play for new comers, Blizzard has lost a ton of experienced players who were at the core of the game. I hope they do listen to people like you, since your opinion obviously carries a lot of weight.
Spot on, especially #3 and #1 imo. Honestly I dont think all these classes should be able to self heal at all. I played back in classic, bc and a little cata, then came back BFA. Now rogues and hunters and mages and warriors etc can heal? Feels like an "everyone gets a trophy" design. I like what you said about DH's pulling everything and self healing. It needs to be where people have to put in work and effort to tackle challenging pulls not just pull everything and do a ton of self healing.
The "endless chore" stuff is really the worst. Almost as bad as messing up classes and specs, but Never ever getting done with CRAP, it's really horrible (from my pov), I hate it!
I saw a post somewhere saying they just totally buffed the versatility bonus gained from wearing two pvp trinkets. Anyone know if this is real or fake? If real, I'm super happy! If fake, well…. damn.
I disagree with your take on chores. You never HAVE to do them and if you take them out, the community would cry that "there's nothing to do!". I guarantee it. "Creating" your own fun isn't fun.
Your #1 is also my #1 most despised thing in the game today. You should have to push buttons. Make people play their characters again. Between passive spells and pets that do more than 10% of someone's overall damage, the players are doing less and less, and the skill level is plummeting.
18:00 – It doesnt need to be on gear. They already had the solution to this years ago with spellpower. They could, if they wanted too, have gear that says "Increases the damage of your Mortal Strike by 500". That way it has the effect of the passive damage procs, except it includes it on your abilities when you push them instead. Which as you point out, is far better design.
lol – I stopped looking at WOW as a game soon after BC cause it was obvious where the chores were heading. If a game isn't fun and the enjoyment isn't longer there… then it's just time to leave. Don't invest in something that isn't fun.
Chores should be at least account bound. Even with catch-up mechanics … who wants to play hours and hours just to get your legendary weapon / neck to the same level as everyone else?
im sure there will be a ctahc up for legos later on, but when theres only 4 ranks, i odnt think there is a need for that. not every alt needs to be caugfht up to their mean in 1 week
Make conquest gear better than pve gear in pvp. They will never do it but this is the only way to save the game for pvp'ers. I DON'T WANT TO RAID TO BE COMPETITIVE IN PVP Ion!

Seriously dude can you make your videos faster? So much talking to make 5 useless points for the majority of the players! What a dork omg

I wonder what it would be like if arenas changed from 2 dps 1 healer to 3 dps vs 3 dps only…
I would add two more:
Make more BGs and Arenas and, if possible, create new mechanics for them.
Use more of the world, not only the four to six expansion zones. Make the "World" on "World of Warcraft" be meaningful again. Incentivate exploration. Create secret rooms/buildings and stuff.
Good content as usual Supatease! You're on a roll!
Hopefully Blizz watches this video

Please Blizzard listen to this man on behalf of all the people who have loved to PvP in this game for years.

#2 & #1: Reasons why people love Classic.
The "endless chore" stuff is really the worst. Almost as bad as messing up classes and specs, but Never ever getting done with CRAP, it's really horrible (from my pov), I hate it!
True that mmos feels like second job nowadays it's same in most mmos
I saw a post somewhere saying they just totally buffed the versatility bonus gained from wearing two pvp trinkets. Anyone know if this is real or fake? If real, I'm super happy! If fake, well…. damn.
#1 is the reason that Disc. Priests are the meta… so far…
They can act as a Healer, but they can throw out a ton of damage too….

Also tanks shouldn’t be able to queue arena.

So where is the petition ?

The double PVP-trinket bonus is up to 40% now.
cant stop hearing it katchup…

Its pronounced "catch up" i do like brown sauce aswell
Tell me more about the problems of folks that play WOW professionally.
can you do a tutorial on what to do when we hit 60?
I can't progress my character doing PvP. I have to do things In the game i don't like. I hope that's gonna be different.
Kinda sounds like most of your issues would be alleviated by having 1-2 toons. I only have time for 1 these days. Makes my life hell of a lot easier.
