The murder of WOW started from the Cataclysm release, tbc &lich king were already balanced and perfect would have been playing it forever had they not updated excessively, but they murdered the master peace game forevee! R.I.P world of warcraft!

This is not stupid at all. WoW Classic and WoW Retail are basically different games at this point. So separating them allows viewers, for example, to find the desired content faster, without skimming through loads of streamers.
Yeah nothing better than trying to look for a retail stream and half of them are Classic. Good viewer experience right there!
