For millennia, Ulduar has remained undisturbed by mortals, far away from their concerns and their struggles. Yet since its recent discovery, many have wondered what the structureโs original purpose may have been. Some thought it a city, built to herald the glory of its makers; some thought it a vault containing innumerable treasures, perhaps even relics of the mighty Titans themselves. Such speculations were wrong. Beyond Ulduarโs gates lies no city, no treasure vault, no final answer to the Titanโs mysteries. All that awaits those who dare set foot in Ulduar is a horror even the Titans could not, would not destroy, an evil they merelyโฆ contained.
Beneath ancient Ulduar, the Old God of death lies, whisperingโฆ. Tread carefully, or its prison will become your tomb.
Since discovering Ulduar in the Storm Peaks, adventurers had journeyed to the titan city to learn more about its mysterious past. Further exploration revealed that the magnificent complex included a prison, intended to permanently confine the Old God Yogg-Saron. This ancient horror had corrupted its guards, and was breaking through the last of its restraints.
Faced with the peril of Yogg-Saronโs imminent freedom, a band of mortals made preparations for a sweeping assault on the city. Overcoming the legions of iron minions and towering defenses at the cityโs entrance took tremendous strength, but even that great victory may not be enough to overcome the madness that dwells below.

The most confuse raid ever lol
If you are New and try do this thing alone you are ded. Ahaha
It was this raid that really made me fall in love with raiding. With the sheer scale and grandeur of Ulduar the word epic is an understatement in describing the many aspects of this place, and the music reflects that. The deeper we delved, the quieter it got, the stronger the sense of dread that followed. The titan fortress towered before us like a majestic behemoth and emerging victorious felt like an impossible feat; truly a magnificent adventure (especially from an RP perspective), only to go back again! For all the difficulty, it was an unforgettable experience. Thank you for this nostalgic journey. ๐
I was doing ICC a couple days ago for Invincible and while I was going through I couldn't stop thinking about how much more intricate, interesting and grand Ulduar was in comparison. Walking around the circular hub in ICC I couldn't believe how graphically bland it was in contrast to Ulduar's hub. You can really tell their all was put into this raid, which makes me all the more devastated that it's the only one I wasn't active for during the expansion.

Omg, Ulduar. This place will always feel special to me, the hours I've spent in there farming that damn mount! 225 runs for this weird gem, more than I've spent in ICC (172 runs for Invincible). I always listened to the music while doing so, because that one and the whole Storm Peaks music is just a pure masterpiece. I'm not gonna play that much wotlk classic because I can't grind the levels like before, but I'm kinda sad I have nothing left to do in Ulduar in retail. I'm glad the music is the same in the dungeon with Loken, at least when I run during timewalking I can enjoy something while being totally annihilated by the iron dwarves because no one knows how to cut their spells lol (no I'm not bitter, you're bitter!)
Anyways, as always, a really great video โฅ something to listen to while freezing under this weather lol

Good evening dear Meisio fans, I hope you are all doing well so far yes? My father passed away a short time ago and now, at the age of 29, I am completely alone here in Germany. You fight your way through, but as an early retiree with health problems, you really have, unfortunately, you have to say, here the arse card. Not so long ago, there was still this mountainous, beautiful attitude to life. I currently have to fight for my apartment because everything has become more expensive and I am poorer than ever. I wish you / all of us only the best & that hopefully things will go uphill again as soon as possible. On my third rewatch using my second monitor while I do homework… gotta appreciate all the incredible artwork and architecture! At around 49:00 you can even see the stained glass pieces representing all the different Old Gods which is some amazing detail! ๐
