Gaming For Immersion focuses on Let’s Play campaigns in games like Total War: Warhammer 3, Age of Wonders 4, Baldur’s Gate 3, and many others that provide great opportunities to tell unique stories. There is no right or wrong way to play video games, but while most Gaming YouTube channels focus on min-maxing, exploiting, or otherwise making games as beatable as possible, our videos are more about theme and challenge and less about min-maxing, exploiting, or finishing games as quickly as possible.

  1. no hate here. i have seen the same. I just returned after a few years away and found some areas are super fun and others are super annoying and I think its scaling as to why that is. i just go and level up some more and come back to the annoying parts to blast through them. in a way its remenicent of the old grinding days of a bygone era.

  2. Yeah, sadly, Blizz has never done scaling right. You feel weaker as you level and stat values don't matter. Twinks at level 11 are more powerful than max level characters with top tier gear score. I doubt they'll ever fix it since they don't like new players for some reason.

  3. I took a break to unlock the Maghar Orcs while I was playing Dragonflight and it was way more frustrating than it had to be. I must have took a portal a million times through what felt like every zone of 4 different expansions. I ended up doing a bunch of old quests I didn't need to. Completely lost in the sauce and the comments sections about who to get missions from and where to go in the unlocking process was outdated and mostly useless. Basically there were different ways to unlock them as time went on, from expansions I never played. A LOT of trial and error. It took a week of doing nothing else for hours a day. Then unlocking the Vulpera was practically only ten minutes. 😠
