  1. This patch better deliver with the gameplay, cinematics, lore, or else. I know a lot of people have been saying WOW is dead for like 10 years now but seriously a lot of players have already left, my friend list is empty and for the first time in 18 years I stopped playing for a whole 8 months.

  2. Such quality writing.

    "im gonna win. >:)"
    "lol no xD"
    "um, ya."

And the animation quality hasn't gotten much better, either. Looks just the same as it did a few weeks ago.

Can we just admit retail is trash?

  4. I sincerely hope they don't try to make literally everything that has happened in recent WoW lore is because of the Jailer's machinations. Claiming that the Legion was a pawn in his game alters nearly everything thus far. The Legion coordinated the attack on Azeroth through the Orcs, the Legion worked with Sargeras to hunt down and destroy countless worlds, the Legion helped lead Arthas to Frostmourne and by proxy to the Helm of Domination – in effect creating the Scourge. The Legion was the tool the Titan Sargeras used to hunt down the Old Gods. The Legion were involved with the War of the Ancients and the Sundering of Azeroth.

This sounds suspiciously like a quote from Star Wars that I always despised. The Emperor kept saying 'Everything is going to my design' or 'It as I have foreseen'. So… The Jailer knew from the get-go that he could control a Titan? He knew about Sargeras' plan to use the Legion to destroy the Old Gods? He knew the Old Gods had corrupted just about everything on Azeroth? He knew Azeroth would be the centerpiece of everything? He knows Azeroth is an unborn Titan? He knew the Legion would demolish Draenor, and in doing so Ner'zhul would have created the Helm of Domination? He knew the Scourge would be created, but something like would require the use of an artifact such as Frostmourne? If those are true, why did he even need to bother asking the Rune Keeper about that stuff? He knew someone like Sylvanas would be able to best Bolvar the Lich King, destroying his crown and opening the portal between our worlds?

I would like to point out that during all of this, he knew we would be there to best every opponent? Even the Titan Sargeras – a literal god. Yet, allowing Sylvanas to open the portal to our world essentially meant that we would be allowed access to him. Did he not realize that glaring problem? Hey, this one champion has defeated the Legion, defeated the Scourge and the Lich King, the Old Gods, even went to space to defeat Sargeras, went beneath the seas to beat Queen Azshara, defeated Heyla, traveled to completely different worlds to defeat the Legion there… but he's perfectly ok with letting said hero into his realm? That seems like a big issue to me.

  5. 1 major problem with WoW is that every xpac you have to grind countless new currencies. I understand that blizzard worry about people hoarding currencies and may be difficult for new players. But they can simply purge currencies like they've done with some currencies already. I don't get what is so critical to create an entire new currency system. You can use the existing currencies and give them new purpose. Why blizzard have to make simple into complicated. I don't mind grinding, but this xpac is like forcing durian down my throat.

  6. holy shite this story is so boring. Literally i've never been so disinterested in a WoW xpacs story. Even *"Alternative Reality Time Traveling Orcs" was easier to follow. Shadowlands to me feels so disconnected from WoW's roots. It feels so out of place.

  7. Honestly I’ve played this game since early BC and it’s amazingly sad how bad the scenes and writing have become. This expac being the worst so far.

Idk what else to say. It’s so uninspired and lazy.
