  1. I'm convinced if they released a whole expansion all at once, all raids zones etc… that some of these players would absolutely zurg all the content in a week then complain of boredom. Blizz has my support in slower launch windows.

  2. I just don't see the point of time gating. Why can't we let people who want to grind it out, have that option while the casuals enjoy the slow burn and catch up when they want? Instead of time gating, just bring back attunements and make them engaging, fullfilling, and gives players the ability to choose whether they want to be a raider or not. Why continue to always punish one side or the other instead of just giving the player the option?

  3. no one acts like the game is a race, the only people who think WoW is a race are the people who are racing to clear the raid first on mythic. 99.9 of players dont even know the RWF exists. casuals are the biggest problem in WoW right now.

  4. I was very lucky in a way, I hurt my back at work the day the expansion came out on early access so thought fk it, im gonna get the early access and chill for a solid 2 weeks and just smash it out

  5. I dont believe they are doing it for your own good. They are doing it because they can stretch subs a bit further that way. People buy expansion and game time and eventually only release raid/m+ a month after so they can collect another months sub. It doesn't seem much but it is if you multiply it by the amount of players playing. Same deal with the campaign, time gated so people Stay subbed.

    Its all about money.

  6. I agree. I play little, but I have now 600 ilvl rogue, 595 preservation and 590 guardian druid. If the pace was the same as before, I would be a 590 rogue with zero alts.

  7. I’ve made 3600 and I don’t even get the point of M+ in this expansion you can just do delves for 100% chances at gear and 616 vault or grind the same 20min dungeon 100 times for a 1/15 chance at the item you want at a lower gear track.

  8. I got bored of farming valorstones to get to 590 ilvl so I just stopped playing at all at 582 ilvl as I cant be asked to spend days on repeatable stuff so I will come back when better gear will be easier to get

  9. It’s wild man, I literally only have like 2 hours a day to allot to playing.

Part of me is like damn, I’m falling behind but the other part is like I got so much crap to do in game I don’t know where to begin.

  10. It was never like that. The whole racing thing startes in WotLK with introduction of ilvls specifically addons that were showing it. So bacially all downfall of WoW started by players. Back in the day all raid were relevant all the time. Like you had to go through raiding Kara if you wanted to go to BT because otherwise your ass would be owned. Now you get gear in a matter of seconds especially at the later time in expansion and there is literally 0 need to do anything before the current raid.

  11. I agree that blizz is trying to slow down the release of content. Some people are just good at the game so they get things done quicker and more efficiently than others. There are some “casual” players that play wayyyy more than competitive players, and competitive players will out dps and outgear them 10/10 times.
