We Did It Again! Massive Shadowlands PvP Changes – PvE Trinkets Nerf

Read more about Shadowlands ➜ https://worldofwarcraft.mgn.tv

World of Warcraft Shadowlands Launch is nearly here, and the beta has been plagued by PvE Trinkets one shotting players in the opener for weeks. After many complaints from the community, we have finally seen a nerf to the trinkets as well as a buff to the PvP set bonus. This is a very big change that should stop players from using such trinkets. It is also important to note that this is the first time the development team has nerfed PvE offensive trinkets in PvP combat. In this video, we also discuss player behavior regarding changes from the Shadowlands development team as well as respond to Pilav’s latest video. Thanks!

  1. Love your videos. Keep up the good work and thanks for advocating for us pvpers. Toxic ppl make me laugh. Developers make the games we all play. Toxic people provide nothing for no one.

  2. No one tried to ruin anyone’s day by using those op trinkets. Venruki has a video of him playing with one of the trinkets that got nerfed, Whazz streamed another one and many others also did. If anything, they tried to show how absurd they were on their current state and I think that it’s thanks to them that those trinkets got nerfed… So I guess you’re just wrong there.

  3. If they are going to do this, they should do it vice versa, so the PvP-trinket and stuff like that aint BiS in PvE. Some classes scales better with pure stats and you've to PvP for it? I always hated PvP since TBC and never PvPd before BFA and I had to PvP because of stupid things like Essences, and I hated EVERY single minuted in those arenas. There will always be an outcry about this topic, Blizzard once had PvP and PvE geared seperate, I would love to see this again!

But thanks for an informative video anyway even tho I hate PvP.

  4. Hey Stoopzz, I stopped playing during BfA season 2 but have been watching the SL development to see if I want to come back. I just want to say thank you for your content and contribution. It really sucks that people show toxicity towards developers and content creators alike. Ever since I started watching you (a while ago now), I've always sensed that you're genuine, you truly love and care about the game, and always approach discussion from a passionate yet logical and thoughtful place. Just keep being you! 🙂 We've seen some of the results of your hard work already throughout this beta – it's not in vain, and it's not going unnoticed!

  5. They are just salty because you are taking away their easy wins and luls. I love these videos that attempt to make the game better because the idea is to get as many people into wow pvp.

  6. first of all: im so happy to see this, you did a great job at utilizing your influence and make the community step up so blizz heard us. BUT why did they fix this just now? its one week until release and you fixed the trinkets now? why not 2 months earlier? blizz has basically zero data from pvp when people actually play their classes and not try to meme to make adjustments 😀 i'm happy about the change but the timing is shit.

  7. Thank you for your thoughtful critique of consumer game culture as it relates to WoW. I recently picked up the game during quarantine and appreciate voices like yours that help to keep us focused on gratitude and the kind of rhetoric that is constructive and actually useful. Keep up the good work!

  8. Great vid Stoopzz, very good point across the board which i feel personaly are what the playerbase should consider. This changes pvp to be abit more focus for pvpers, which is gr8! At the same time i feel that the vendors should be improved upon, tho i feel this is something they could do as the expac progresses, like maybe add a resilience stat or something which is only found on pvp gear. Again this is something that could be implemented at a later point, so to conclude this comment:
Great that they’re listening and making pvp more its own gamemode again, small things i want to see but so far so good!

    Keep up the good work
