The entire premise of this video is wrong. First and foremost, it wasn't a "prediction" it was a bug/oversight that allowed Corrupted Blood to target pets and would remain on them if the pet was dismissed before it expired. Second "Fast Travel" had nothing to do with how the Corrupted Blood Spread, it was Hunter Pets.
The blood plague was a social experiment to see what the community would do in the event a plague spread and it honestly was a failure and nuisance more than anything it also proved people are stupid and just want to be a nuisance for so many were deliberately getting infected to spread to low levels, if they hoped the wow community were going to band together to stop the plague spreading they were deeply incorrect lol
If they predicted COVID-19, then literally every movie every book every blog and anytime somebody mentioned a pandemic, they predicted COVID-19. Honestly that’s really really ignorant, bro. I don’t think you thought that one all the way through before you just said it and posted it. But it’s ok because we all say dumb shit like that every now and then. Also I love this pandemic WoW story lol

Well if you are going to claim that this predicted covid, then I feel obligated to inform you that Blizzard ripped this concept off from the Sony playstation 2 version of Everquest called EQOA. This was done as a part of the Plane of Disease release. Mysterious healers called the Springview healers arrived ingame at the start of the event to gather information on and research the new mysterious plague sweeping the land; The Pox. This disease infected a player until they died, spread to mobs when they were struck my infected players and it lowered your stats. The end of the story arc you find out that the springview healers are actually disciples of Bertoxxulous, the God of disease, and had come from the Plane of Disease.

Ill never firget it. Undercity was my Capitol and did not spread there
They did stuff in everquest 2…spreading a cough
I was a teenager back then ..i didn't understand why people were dying..some infected player spread it to the human beginning area
This was so cool!
So that's not how it was spread, they couldn't fast travel but rangers could store the infection In their pets, get your facts straight.
It didn't predict covid. They used the data to predict the spreading of viruses during outbreaks.
I didn’t predict COVID-19 they did use that incident in the study of covid to predict the spread

How is that a prediction. It was simply a pandemic, like spanish flu.

Ah yes, Hoccer, the Blood God…
It was actually spread by a pet that was dismissed during the fight with the debuff
You mispronounced the blood God's name instant dislike
Pandemics have happened in the past multiple times. WoW didn't predict anything, some players realized they could grief, and that's what they did.
