if i leave a gun on the ground do you have to use it to kill people ? no OFC it was a ban yea blizzard fucked up but by baning them they fixed it also FUCK BLIZZARD
They didn't ban the guild the hide their mistake. The guild knew what they were doing was wrong and did it several times anyway. If they did it once and reported it they would have been fine.
It may be their mistake but at the same time the player exploited it when they could have given it back. Shows a lack of morals from the player I would say.
Honestly this isnt bad at all. Giving any guild such a powerup is not right. Instead of informing that sucha thing had happened they actually used it. But if a person didnt use it themselves are they responsible?? The leader definately is and so os the guy who used it but eveyone else?? Take away their loot and give a smaller ban theyre not the ones who did this.
1) blizzard has openly stood against human rights before and has yet to even apologize. So a ban isnt even their worst mistake 2) what exact backlash didntheu face? Did people stopnbuying subscriptions? Or was it just a bunch of angry words on twitter?

The sword of a thousand truths
What backlash ? They kept buying subscriptions right ? ….. so noone did nothing because of this, and nothing is changed cause of it… there
I have no sympathy for those that abuse something even if it’s dev error. Just cause you can doesn’t mean you should
How cold-hearted. It's DIED by suicide, not committed.

It wasn't, "To hide their mistake".. It's because the guild knowingly used the item to exploit.
