So who exactly is the Jailer?

With some heavy Shadowlands spoilers, we’ve learned a lot more about who this guy is and what is his name. Zovaal, as he is called, is an Eternal one something akin to the titans and apparently, he did something that caused the other Eternal ones to imprison him and to fuel his prison with anima from the other realms.

However apart from that, not much else is known, so I get into a few bits and pieces that we have and try to connect the dots. The message from the Primus of Maldraxxus as well as a few questlines in the Shadowlands beta. So who is the Jailer and why is he imprisoned?

  3. You remember when even in Heartstone we had only 4 old gods and we knew THAT ONLY 4 existed?
Blizz : say no more in BFA we bring you anotehr one !!! Youw ere wrong the entire time and there are 5!
You remember when there was a titan race?
Blizz: say no more, there another titan race but you did not know about it HAHA.

The real question is, how much money and how long it will take so people will FINALLY realise the mediocrity behind their new stories ?

Now travel back in time when you fought wolves in classic and now you get THIS AND FUCKING VULPERA.
"LESS IS MORE" for WoW makes sense.

  4. In WoW lore, we always fight to keep things as they are. Would be interesting to fight to make things different.

Besides that, it's just boring to deal with the same structure of Legion again. Go to another world, find powerful entities, one is a bad boi, defeat bad boi.

  5. I have a really random thought. You know how the warcraft live action movie i believe wasn't loved.

I wonder if making a world of Warcraft anime would work. Looking at all the action animes out there i don't see why not. It's just a really interesting idea.

Who wants an anime sylvanias vs her sisters? Meee 😀

  6. I like how you have the talent to f*ck up the audio in almost every single one of your videos. In this one : 1. The music is too loud and dramatic, people can't even hear properly what are you saying, 2. You already speak English far from perfectly, so why are you talking so fast? , 3. Your tone is never a match with the story you are telling

  7. To be honest, it looks like Blizzard is building an entirely new story arc. As someone who followed the franchise from warcraft 3 and, obviously vanilla WoW I've stopped caring about the plot after Legion.

  8. Oi, all this infatuation with "morally gray". At the Jailer's direction, how many have been brutally murdered and sentenced to horrific eternal suffering? That isn't gray, it's evil. If ever anyone wants to do things "for the greater good", that advocate needs to be in line, or they're a dirtbag. Illidan was a dirtbag. He never intended to suffer the same fate as all of the people he sacrificed/murdered or enslaved. Sylvanas is a dirtbag for all the same reasons. I'm not saying they are bad as characters, they can prove to be interesting. But to call them anything less than evil – you're a sociopath.

  9. Helya is behind all this. Helya is bringing souls to The Maw instead of Shadowlands. Helya and Sylvannas had made a deal in Legion. Sylvannas and Jailer been contacted since WotLK and became best friends since Cataclysm.

  10. So what were the Shadowlands for before the Jailer's betrayal? The Sepulchre that contains the knowledge about the warfare? Why would they store their secrets there? Different realms? It's lame that the realm of afterlife is governed by the exactly same mundane principles of politics and struggle for power which govern all other worlds and groups. And by the way, why did Sargeras need a portal in the Well of Eternity during the War of the Ancients, but at the end of Legion he could manifest himself in the physical space above the planet and stab it with a sword? The current WoW's lore is such a mess…

  11. so what other big baddie are they gonna pull out their ass once the jailor is disposed of?
feel like the "lore" they write now is quite literally just pulled out of someones ass and never related to past events.
remember back in warcraft 3 when the lore was great and the storylines were all intertwined in a perfectly spun web?
yeah, i miss those days too. my jaw dropped in furious anger when sylvanas ripped the crown of domination in half after sweeping the lich king away like a mere pest.
some things in stories, you just don't do or its established to be a total impossibility – soloing the lich king and breaking his crown are two examples of breaking unwritten rules to the dismay of everyone who isn't a sylvanas simp.

retail gets two thumbs and two big toes down. terrible writing, terrible execution. the fact the revered animators at blizzard were forced to animate this travesty broke my heart.

  12. hold on, you have to gather "Enema"???
i advise googling that word and challenge you not to laugh when the word is described…
lets just say it has to do with flushing… certain orifices… dude what the hell… the writers must be doing acid to be so uncreative as to come up with (YET ANOTHER) 'Azerite resource' and then call it "Enema"… honest to god, that's just downright terrible but also funny.

if anything needs an enema its the blizzard warcraft writing team… preferably one supported by enough pressure to flush out these hack writers that are ruining the world of warcraft.
