  1. Quickest easiest fix;
    Bring back 'Cut to the Chase' The spicy talent that refreshed SnD on finishers (evisc envenom) but in this case, rupture or Envenom.
    Venom Rush reworked and Baseline. Its garbage. No ones using it. No one HAS used it in like 5 or 6 years. Make it better and baseline.
    Poison Bomb feels unrewarding too imo at the current, I like that the clear winner for AoE is CT again but like, if CT takes over again in single target with enough haste that just.. feels weird again imo. It was almost like in Legion/Antorus when FoK replaced Mut for single target due to Artifact bonsues. Maybe an interraction with shiv beyond just the nature Damage?

  2. Im fine with Sin being dead for an expansion. Been playing it for two expansions now and im excited to be switching to subtlety. I just hope bliz doesnt kill that too and make us all roll the bones. Blizzards fix for rogues seems to be nerf it till its dead then nerf it some more… Never balance.

  3. i feel like the reason they removed slice from sin was because of the problems you outlined. we just never have enough energy to keep it all going so it feels really bad. i have no idea why they would add this back in

  4. Slice and dice should be removed and Crimson tempest should apply "rupture" for a shorter duration on all targets instead of being it´s own dot.
    So when you are in 4+ targets you stop using rupture and just use crimson tempest. similar to primal wrath for feral druids.

  5. So whats is going to be your going to spec for all content in general?

    Cause i like Sub and Assa. But if Blizzard nerfs to the underground Sub and Assa doesnt work as you explained. I rather to play another class than have to play Outlaw. Just hate so much Outlaw. Thanks!

  6. I wonder how the rogues in vanilla/classic got by when all they can afford to do is and/rupture?

    If damage is somewhat fine then why change it when high haste levels will fix it anyway? Maybe some people enjoy a slow playstyle that focuses on maintaining buffs/debuffs.

I started late transitioning into Outlaw Rogue these past 2-3 weeks because I've noticed that Assassination has gotten literally NO love at all throughout the PTR for SL and nothing leading up to prepatch. Not to mention I want to be able to pull 5-6 enemies & actually feel good doing it. Looks like I'll be staying Outlaw probably the remainder of SL/all of SL.

  8. I wanted to pause the video and comment, but you kept hitting the nail on the head so I had to finish. I totally agree wholeheartedly. I’m on beta quite a bit and I feel like they brought back all these pruned abilities that just don’t really mesh well with the current state of classes. I’m 2400 xp and I felt so disconnected from the pvp on beta. Like I just couldn’t get into it and I’m still trying to discern what exactly is throwing me off. Maybe you could touch on this subject if you haven’t? Could be the pve trinkets murdering every one, but idk the game feels… wrong

  10. How would you rank rogue specs in m+ atm? Outlaw>sub>assa? I'm assuming outlaw will remain m+ lord due to the frequent stuns and gouge to interrupt stuff without having to waste offensive cds (shadow dance) on cheap shots. I'd love to stick to assa but the way it's looking now it doesn't really look enjoyable.. Sooo sub or outlul? 😀

  11. Hi, completely agree with what you are saying about the Assassination, but I have the impression that they are not listening to us because these problems have come up from the Alpha (WowHead), I hope they will something for my favorite spec.

    In the meantime here are my ideas:

    – First of all they have to do something about [MasterAssassin] (talent and legendary). Namely that there was [Overkill] that existed (https://shadowlands.wowhead.com/spell=58427/overkill).

    – For [SnD] it will suffice to put the talent [Cut to the Chase](https://wow.gamepedia.com/Cut_to_the_Chase_(rogue_ability)#:~:text=Cut%20to%20the%20Chase%20is,of%20%5BSlice%20and%20Dice%5D.&text=Your%20Envenom%20refreshes%20your%20Slice,its%205%20combo%20point%20maximum.) in place of [PoisonBomb] or [HiddenBlades] which are very average but only as a last resort; but the best is to find a synergy with [VenomousWounds]. By the way, don't forget to do something for [PoisonBomb] and [HiddenBlades].
    – For [CrimsonTempest] to make it work like the Feral's talent [PrimalWrath].

    – For [VenomRush] to include [Ambush] see even [Fan of Knives].

    – Then I don't know what to think of [MasterPoisoner] and [Exsanguinate].

    – I also have one last personal wish which is to delete [Vendetta] for [KingsBane].

  12. I stopped playing my rogue back at the start of BFA haven't really touched it since. I'm pretty sad since its been my main since BC. But BFA and SL have not helped the class at all. The damage it deals is irrelevant to me if it is feels bad to play. I am sure some people like it I guess… it is what it is..

  13. Legion assa was propably best but legendaries destroyed gameplay due to rng. Imo they should put it back with shiv working like artifact back then, remove ct and make rupture % chance to deal additional poison dmg and snd as passive or refreshed by envenom. They can even remove vendetta lol i always liked more constant dot dmg approach with small cd's rather than big burst spec.

  14. It’s clunky, slice and dice gets in the way and toxic blade being removed is awful. I have found a gap of down time/ no energy. The moment after opener and out of stealth, I have to try and go on the defensive. This is a pvp perspective.

  15. eh, its just what happens when you take a stat reliant spec, and nerf all the stats into the ground, then give everyone trash gear and say have at it, it'll be fine later in the xpac. Removing slice and dice for assa makes no sense, the better thing to do would be to make poison procs for assa refund energy or something, that way it would give attackspeed more value, would also love to see them separate toxic blade from shiv and just baseline shiv, makes no sense that for 1 spec you have to choose between utility or dmg when the other 2 don't have that. Also turn garrote back into a stealth only ability for all specs and give assa a new maintenance dot, like hemo or something. the suggestion to rework ct into primal wrath would imo be pretty decent, as well and would give them room to introduce another bleed into the spec and not overcrowd it.
    Imo the bleed fantasy for assa is alot better than the poison one, especially now with poisons coming back to all specs, and i think most people would agree with that.

  16. I think they need to move energy regen away from bleed ticks to just having a strong baseline of energy. They should not have unpruned slice n dice, maintenance buffs that provide no damage/energy/healing etc are dead to me in modern WoW. Poison bomb needs to go onto the mobs and not be an uncontrollable ground effect. Talents need a rework for every row. I actually hate how there is no utility row for stealth but instead its a dps attachment to stealth. Let stealth apply poisons and let vanish be utility. No MA, no nighstalker no Garotte bonus on subterfuge. Those talents work for sub due to SD but they feel archaic for assassination. Also ambush from stealth is really awkward with mutilate. If they want big hit from stealth just make a tooltip to say Mut alwasy crits or something from stealth…

  17. Honestly the bigge ssd t thing I think a class should get right first before dps tuning increasing or decreasing damage. Is how it feels to play. I hate how haste makes some specs feel better to play. Alot of players wont wven get to that point. I play both arms and assassin both specs that rely on haste way to much. When it could easily be fixed by lowering mutilate cost adding combat potency for off hand to regain energy.. those two things would make assasin feel so much better.. arms they could litterly add gain 10 rage from using overpower and the resets of overpower would instantly feel good to play without haste. A apec should feel good and fluent. And switching to classes like monk or fury warrior classes where your not waiting for resources even if rheynuse resources for dpsing your not skipping globals waiting for rage or energy…
