Hey man don't give up on WoW because of clicking. I can't really use my keyboard much because of being dyslexic. So I bought an MMO mouse and keybound everything to that. It helps tremendously if you wish to try that may help.

On the keybind topic. You are factually slower with clicking and less environmentally aware. There is no argument against that. You could always learn to keybind but if youre not willing to then it doesnt matter. Youll quickly reach a limit where you wont be good for certain levels of gameplay.
The post on Wiki most likely is a meme post. Clickers are not the underdog, they're slower by nature.
Also, if you have disabilities then it makes sense. You are allowed to. But don't argue that a clicker is as competitive as a keybinder.

Made a whole video on why you're clicking rather than just taking 5 seconds to learn how to press 1-5 on keyboard. Respect king.

you want to learn to keybind? create a new character and a new ui. so your keys are at the bottom. you cn use a weakaura in th emiddle of your screen like Luxthos's but keep they keys at the bottom. Dont use heirloom gear, and level. Make yourself move the buttons to your keybinds and set up your hotbar/keybinds to something that is as natural to you as possible.
for me i strafe left and right with A and D Q is for stuns/bubbles ER, T is for taunt or Cleanse. 1 through5 is for main abilities i'm goin to us all thetime. 6 is mouse button, 7 is shift mouse button. 9-= are rebound to Middle mouse button, Shift scroll up, shift scroll down. middle mouse is for teleports warlock) or aoe interrupts like (blinding light for paladins) Shift scroll up is for buffs, down is for speed ups or divine shield/aspect of the turtle.
Z is aoe, caps lock is for my interrupts like rebuke, kick, pummel, x is for personal speed boosts, c is for aoe, VR, T is on this ar, but same as above. Shif T, Shift V for buffs/defensives. I can go on, but this gives me decent ammount of binds, and lall the binds are the same for al characters.
Level again like i said without heirlooms to give yourself tme to learn. heirlooms just excelerate leveling too much if you are looking to break this habit. Its going to take time an its giong to be frustrating. I've had to change bindings and even mouse buttons at one point and time. but 1 week of pratice every day and the frustration goes away. 2 weeks and you probably don't have to lok at your keybinds, espeialy if you have a weakaura, 3 weeks, maybe having started a 2nd character to level up, or just continuing with the first and it should feel comfortable. by 4 week, you'll wonder why clicking was ever your thing.

You play however you want that's no one else's business, but one thing is true, you are an underdog if you're a clicker, that's just a fact. You can even be a great player being a clicker but you'll just never be as good as you could as long as you remain a clicker. All that being said if you don't care to be the best you can at this 20 year old MMO (which just means you're sane TBH), just keep playing however you like.
Personally I'm a bit of both, mostly use keybinds, but do some clicking too and I've never had any problems be it PvE or PvP.

The point of video games is for enjoyment. If you find more enjoyment by clicking abilities rather than utilizing keybinds then there's nothing wrong with that.
It's disgusting to me how so many people are so closed-minded and incapable of critical thinking or rational thought that they put players down for a choice like this.

Nothing wrong with clicking if you just play WoW casually IMO, but if you do want to give keybinding a go, there's no need to bind everything at once as you won't remember what's bound to what and a lot of it is just muscle memory. I'd start by binding your most used/spammed abilities, even if it's just one or two of them, then slowly build on that. That's what I did when I moved over from clicking to keybinds. Even now I click some abilities that have very long cooldowns or I don't want to risk fatfingering (like Bloodlust).
Cool, I don't remember how I went with the game years ago, but I might get back and play again. Sounds like there is game for chill play.
I started playing WoW in burning crusades and began as a clicker. I don’t think I moved to keybinds until wrath of the lich kind when I wanted to be more competitive while raiding. Edit: if you’re curious about how I transitioned to ketbinds, started as a level 1 mage and forced myself to level to cap using only key binds. Slowly being introduced spells helps. Also, I eventually got a 12 side button mouse and the rest was history. Still use the same mouse today for every game I play
WOW like every other game has a group of elitist people that will judge you on everything you do. Ignore them. For them, all they’ll ever have is this game and their shitty repulsive attitudes until they grow out of it or they don’t and end up alone. Do you.

It is fair to click instead of playing the game with keybinds if you don't intend to really become good at the game and just casually play for fun. Most players get triggered, because if you want to get good, yes clicking is horrible.
Also, the comments you showed didn't say your opinion was bad, they were just triggered by the clicking. The comment section should be a place where you are allowed to voice random things you noticed, found funny or whatever.
Your main takaway from those comments should be (imo) that people don't like watching clickers, it is fine to do, but it doesn't make for nice background footage
You can click all you want, just don't join my groups because clickers play the game objectively worse. It's not just a gameplay choice, it's a form of self handicap.
