As Shadowlands was released I took quite some time to go through the story to get to level 60 and to play through Bastion, Maldraxxus, Ardenweald and Revendreth and I got to admit that so far I have really enjoyed the game, a lot more than I had expected.
As Shadowlands is a completely new concept and we are getting brand new characters and villains like the Jailer and Sire Denathrius I got to admit it is for the first time in a really long time that I am actually passionate about the lore and that I am invested and care about the outcome of the story, at least a lot more than I was previously.
So in this video, I cover my experience thus far, thoughts on the lore, speculations about the future and why I think that Shadowlands can and will ‘save’ world of warcraft.

"Why I Think Shadowlands Will 'SAVE' World of Warcraft"
Your fanboy side is showing, in my opinion, the lore of this expansion is the most stupid of all and we come from BFA, where Blizzard literally defecated in the history of the game. The only way to make the game tolerable is to ignore all the text and dialogues, because mechanically the expansion looks good, but every time I pay attention to the lore I want to delete the game from the PC.

I actually loved BFA up until the N'ylotha corruption stuff. BFA was what brought me back since I had to stop playing around Cataclysm. I'm enjoying Shadowlands so far. For right now after playing through all that I missed the 2 expansions I like the most so far are Mists of Pandria and Legion.
Legion was good. Horrible ending though. BfA never made sense to me anyway.
