Retail and classic retail players are shit people in game and IRL.
Wow community toxic AF.
Stay off classic realms, if you can't handle lfr 🤣
Been getting back into Ffxiv after a while of being gone and I have to say the community of WoW and Ffxiv is night and day Ffxiv I messed up my rotation and died and they were like that’s fine no reason to be sorry it happens it was such a breath of fresh air.
world of solocraft
When i was addicted to this game i always helped. It s a mmo not an 4 player game. Grow the comunity
People join LFR and get nervous about asking questions because they don’t want to be kicked for not knowing the routine. I always try to help out and tell what I know from reading and watching clips of others doing it. The community needs to stop being toxic. If you’re in LFR and you want to get rid of people who don’t know what they are doing then you shouldn’t be in LFR. Go join a premade group.
One of my favorite parts of wow is helping beginners. I love teaching a healer or dos stuff and watching them improve over a dungeon. Or guiding a tank as we do a pug raid (in wrath).
Yes communities should look after one another. That being said, wow is toxic community :'D
WoW players can be the worst. Being elitest in LFR or any Mythic below a 12-15 key is just ridiculous
I had a toxic LFR leader rush every encounter and I even mentioned id repair and heal but as soon as I told the leader told the leader to wait but I got kicked. LFR is now so toxic and filled with tryhards that it isn't fun
Doesn't help when you been playing for near to 20 years. Think of a new person in your job. Kinda the same. I'm not like that but I've seen it 😅
Amen brother
I think because we are going around the track again on the original game people are even less likely to help other people realize. I just dealt with this with my dps in a raid, I ended up making a correction but the guy ended the whole raid because of our dps not being high enough to continue ( I was still number 1 ) which may or may not have been true but was so critical and mean and inpatient it was unbearable coming from a raid leader. Maybe this also has to do with how Blizzard is ending wotlk soon and nobody wants to play classic wow servers. They need to make burning crusade and wotlk servers and take the loss of money in order to make wow players happy. You can’t just keep running a loop on people or they will all quit. Even tho they did release season of discovery and that is new. They need to stop pushing retail now and dedicate servers for the individual expansions. With maybe a yearly reset. Or just keep going around the track again and again while also having dedicated wotlk servers. Do you guys think the game will die out faster if we had BC and Wotlk servers or just keep running around the loop
this was partly why i quit wow very early. Was playing retail, doing dungeon content to learn my class in a group setting between quests(Basic rotations with add-on help). Would just get kicked or have the others leave the group if i ever asked questions about any specific mechanic the add-ons i had didn't tell me about…kinda killed the whole experience of group content which is the only reason i really play mmo's to begin with.
Google
its not my job to help some random person i see in an lfr learn the fights specially since i will prolly never run into that player again. Theres a guide ingame that explains fight mechanics there's videos and guides posted all over the internet u can watch or read. I did my job learning the fight stop being lazy and do some prep before just showing up and being like i dunno. If taking the time to learn fights pre raid is too much work for u then maybe raiding isnt for u. Its just being lazy expecting the prepared people to make time to babysit u.
In LFR, always expect to get kicked if you die once.
If you don’t get kicked, congratulations your group is feeling a bit tolerant today.
you join a guild that teaches you you dont ask randoms.
You don't even get kicked in lfr because noone communicates there. You can try your spells all you want
If your in LFR and don't even know your spells something is wrong and you don't need to be in LFR
