New information from the war within alpha challenges everything we had ever known about the Sword of Sargeras. We just discovered what appears to be the 5th old god in the ancient history of Azeroth and next to him is a void crystal functioning as the sun also in ancient history. This appears to be crystal from Hallowfall that we just learned changed into the void for the first time in recent history exactly when Sargeras had stabbed Azeroth.
If this is the primordial crystal that created Azeroth that the titans had purified from the void, was the entire sword of Sargeras ordeal one big screw you I was right move to the titans. See the titans thought they could contain the void, Sargeras belived the crusade was the only answer, wiping out the universe and starting from scratch, this disagreement led to Sargeras wiping out the pantheon as well.
Then in Legion the titans returned put Sargeras and his crusade to an end and in last ditch effort he might have reactivated the crystal to tell them well let’s see if you guys are so smart, try to contain this, then you will see the burning crusade was the only way. We know the void is invading, the titans are returning so what is even going on. I know if sounds a bit crazy but hear me out because a lot of new information just dropped.

What do you think the crystal really is? One hint against the primordial crystal theory. They already did that in Diablo. It was called the Worldstone. The eye of The Creator. The source of all creation. Copying something like that would completely diminish its luster and importance.
"They" didn't decide to rip out the tree planted by Eonar. That was just Amanthul throwing a tantrum against Eonar "infecting" the planet with life (chaos) in opposition with his plans of complete order. That tree was a gift from Elune (she's all about balance). Elune was betting on Eonar to balance the scales.
If Sargeras is simply a mad titan, like the titans keep telling us, and Amanthul is their leader (and probably the most powerful – maybe – Norganon snickering in the background), then how did Sargeras "just a titan" managed to murder all of them? Don't say Fel. He never uses Fel to fight, just to punish failures. He doesn't have a trace of green on him, ever. Only bright orange fire.
Sargeras just throwing a final "fuck you" by enabling a void invasion is simply too out of character. Wouldn't it be against everything he fought for?
Another hint. What color was Argus' soul when it hit the Arbiter? (why did it hit the arbiter in the first place? – don't tell me because it was too big, too powerful, infused with death magic…). Where do the souls of titans go when they are slayed? Titan Watchers? What color was the energy flowing from Sargeras' blade into the planet before we infused it with azerite? Bright crimson. Why did azerite or the power derived from it stop the flow of crimson energy? Dots-dots-dots.
Trust me. It's really not that simple (I would be so disappointed if it's that simple 🙁 no disrespect)
Also, the devs have underlined multiple times that no color is ever chosen at random, ever. They have people hired to keep an eye on this shit. They are called lore historians.
I thought that sargeras stabbed azeroth to make her whole again
GD I love WoW lore!
Another great video, thank you for the Content!
Blame shadow priests they found the dagger 😂😂😂
i can't believe the goblins haven't stripped that sword for materials yet
Is xalatath the old god depicted in the wall artwork?
So BFA and SL will be ignored lol
What if simply Sargeras aimed the sword directly to the fifth old god in order to kill it? We Know Killing old gods can kill azeroth, and maybe this one wasn't the most powerful, but the most rooted into her ? (which could explain why there was its blood, a-k-a azerite, spewing out everywhere). Then with the fifth old god's death, its blood stained the crystal, which ended slowly turning purple ?
(also, there is beauty in actions which has unexpected consequences. Sargeras totally didn't to that to say "screw you" to the titans, but afterwards, it unvolontarily worsen azeroth's corruption, so finally with a "oh shit" moment, they Come back to fix the problem ?
Also is it possible that NZoth is still out there in Khaz Algar? In the endless sea.
– the Nyalotha raid wasn't located anywhere in the real world. Could have been just a vision, a dream, another dimension.
– Entrance to Nyalotha was in Uldum and Pandaria – right on both sides of Isle of Dorn!
– In Hallowfall, there is a strange fish, rather familiar, that telepaticaly speaks into your head and when you free it, it transforms into a giant squid, warns you and leaves into the endless sea..
Looking at that mural, what I see is Old Ones ushering Dracthyr and Insectoids up the stairs. If I had to make a wild guess, this could be telling us where the Nerubians come from.
Yknow i wish id started a wow lore youtube channel nearly 2 decades ago because literally EVERTHING ive ever theorised about the wow story has turned out to be true. I've literally been saying since TBC that its going to turn out that Sargeras is actually the good guy, like an Illidan 2.0. They virtually have identical characters and motivations.
A giant crystal, really powerful, from where all life originated….. this is giving me D2 Worldstone vibes.
C'mon, its pretty obvious that whatever that Crystal is, is tied to whatever the Nerubian Queen is saying about ascension, so regardless of its origins, it's pretty obvious that's what beledar is, a Naaru esque thing with phases of light and void.
I hate new WoW writing, it has ruined every character pretty much, cannot wait to find our last titan is transexual black woman.
Or maybe that crystal is the ship who bring the Old Gods on Azeroth
I think that Amunthul was the only order Titan and the others have been "converted" the same way as he wanted Azaroth to be.
The backstory of WoW is important. The reason why there are Worlds involved in endless Warcraft to begin with is because the races on those planets know that a Celestial seed has been planted on their planet. Once it grows to maturity, it rips its way out, destroying the planet and the race. If the races can keep their numbers below the tipping point via attrition in war, then the Celestial won't be born. Azeroth is our Celestial, and there are signs that she is cooperating with the Alliance. That's why Sargeras stabbed our planet – in an attempt to kill the Celestial seed.
Random guess.. maybe the 5th old god was the one who succeeded (and was waiting around) while the other 4 stayed on the surface since they where not required. Just a thought 🧐
You are so off that its sad i guarrente that the crystal is holding a TITAN in inside and thats what Sargeras was aiming at and missed when he got sucked into space, so know she is signaling for help cause now she is signaling for help now that Miss little Dagger with legs along with the void is trying to curropt her and then when we get into Midnight we help her emerge and then in the Last Titan well thats when im guessing the Titans come back and then its the EPIC BATTLE
There is a scene in Oldhillsbrad Inn in Southshore. The paladins had a void crystal and they turned it into the light.
Is it just me or with this whole Titan propaganda could it turn out that "Sargeras did nothing wrong?" Could this turn out like Garosh? and be that Sargeras was pretty much right? To me sounds like Sargeras plan would have actually worked and stopped the old god's/void and would have stopped the whole old god story for WoW. If he actually restarted everything again with the burning crusade with no void there would be no problem with Azeroth right now. The Burning Crusade would have saved us
A giant crystal that is the source of all life? WoW/FFXIV crossover confirmed!
Blizzard feels like the Hollywood of videos games. Can’t think of any original ideas? Throw in an old god.
I need to confess a thing… i no longer follow the games story, i'm lost with so many things… i just watch your videos because i like the way you talk XD
Maybe the crystal was originally void. I remember xalatath saying something along the lines of the light being their brethren who strayed from the path.
So there’s a sword now? 😲
what is the point to play the alpha when it just spoils shit for you when it goes live. seems counter productive then just simply playing it? then again I bet half of folks here quit ages ago but for some reason still love the story
I still feel that this further supports my theory that the sword was made from the corpse of Y'shaarj.
Maybe sargeras was the homie
Imagine being born in such a dark age of terror and horror and someone comes to your house and says that today there will be a great day of honor for you and the person asks what is such an honor and he/she says that you will be eaten today
Sargeras dis nothing wrong
Inb4 "sargeras was really da gud gai gais" this is fucking bullshit. Genocide is gud cas whamn did its, da bad gais r da gud gais n stuff its played the fuck out.
The titans betrayed Azeroth to feed their endless power grab against mortals by using their understanding of these worlds/mortal life as a means of creating an endless vacuum of power for themselves.
Sargeras noticed this and turned to the Burning Legion because they were the only army willing to go against the titans, mortals followed blindly because they're easily manipulated by primordial beings.
You can gather this from the lore books too, I never believed Sargeras was wrong, Titans are some of the only beings capable of reincarnating and the Pantheon simply abuses mortals to do whatever they want including keeping Azeroth from awakening.
THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING! (for the 125th time)
I foresee a final fantasy x scenario where we have to *ill the titans.
is it possible it is just a mural you know no real meaning
Come on Blizzard said the crystal is not the sword get the facts right. They said the crystal has been there way longer before Sargeras stabbed Azeroth.
Sargeras basically looked at the back of the Krusty doll and switched it from "Good" to "Evil."
At the end of the expansion something inside the crystal will break out or reveal what it really is……
The Lore of WoW is pure dogshit these days, doesnt make any sense what so ever. Blizzard have lost the plot, pulling all of this out of their arse…. next after these 3 xpacs what are we going, getting on a ship and going to a new planet altogether -_-
We might have causality backwards here. This is going to come from out of left field…but what if the crystal didn't start changing colors because the world was stabbed, but rather the world was stabbed because the crystal started to change colors.
Sargaras appears over the world, and he knows that it's his ultimate goal. He wants to pour fel juice into it to kill off the void that's there, as we know that void and fel don't mix. He is preparing to enact his ritual, and then starts getting pulled back from the world. He sees "oh fug, I'm too late. The heart is already turning to void." And then goes for a hail marry and stabs the world.
The crystal looks suspiciously like his blade's edge, coincidence?…
