  1. Westworld, the TV show, managed to nail what was going on, here. “The guests don’t return for the obvious things we do, the garish things. They come back because of the subtleties, the details. They come back because they discover something they imagine no one has ever noticed before, something they fall in love with.” It was an explorer-player-type's dream come true.

  2. For me, World of Warcraft Classic is the best game of all time. If I could only play one game for the rest of my life, it would be this one. Everything else can't even come close to WoW Classic in terms of immersion and worldbuilding. But tastes differ, just like people do. So I can understand if other people prefer other games.

  3. Fantastic breakdown of why World of Warcraft truly stands as a masterpiece. It’s incredible how much depth and artistry went into its design—every detail feels intentional and impactful. It’s always fascinating to dive into different perspectives on what makes this game so timeless.

    Thanks for your Work!

  4. You really hit the nail on the head. It's about the world and how you experience it. Personally I love the social interaction in the game and unfortunately I think that aspect in WoW is dying. New launches revitalize it but it fades over time. The world building seems to be the only aspect in WoW that never truly degrades.

  5. I think what makes Vanilla WoW so special, that at no point did your character feel like "The savior of the world".
Just a potential part of saving the world, just like everyone else.

  6. As an active player of World of Warcraft, the game is utter garbage that is only out to scam you for your money. Period. Whether it is the $90 auction house Brutosaurus scam or the Mountain Dew red motorcycle scam. The scams never end here and if you play long enough you will see that the game only continues to exist to scam more money.

  7. I say this as someone who started playing during WoD: Classic has a tangible passion and magic that is missing from the modern game. The zones, the music, the space. It grabs you and pulls you in as a little orc (or any other race) in a big world.

  8. I'm primarily a retail player, as I just enjoy the faster pace more. But classic is something that always draws me back in from time to time, just because of it's legendary quest lines, and it's focus on the world itself. Quests, like the Morbent Fel chain that requires you to venture out to the Wetlands to see other areas, or the Missing Diplomat quest chain that has you investigating the disappearance of the King himself. Classic just has some damn good quest chains.

  9. Man, I remember being completely dumbfounded by the gameplay trailers for WoW that you got with the Warcraft 3 box. The idea that you could live INSIDE the world of Azeroth just appealed SO MUCH to me. What a wonderful time it was!

  10. I would be down for a classic plus experience where it was sort of like a play your way type of deal. Something where you could toggle different things on and off like faster leveling if you want to go that way or having a barbershop/transmog features. Basically a number of options that make the classic experience what you yourself want it to be. And I feel like with the phasing technology they could do that and if you want to run around the world looking like a Christmas tree wearing 10 different color pieces of armor that’s your option but if you want to do something a little different, you should also have that option
