  1. Really disappointed about the Torghast nerfs, managed to do layer 8 on my 198 frost dk, it was hard and it was challenging and required actual thought and planning unlike previous layers, layer 8 was the first time i started dying in torghast and I am sad that my warlock alt will never get to enjoy this high level of solo difficulty

  2. Mob density could be still a little bit better. I mean less dense.
What I hate is that in warmode the area around my covenant is not sanctuary, so many players try to attack me even though we are in the same covenant from lore perspective. Plus it is not funny to be attacked at home.

  3. I'll consider coming back to WoW when they stop treating Night Elves like a punching bag to forward Human and Horde stories. They tried to placate Nelf Fans with 8.1 and failed horribly. Gave Tyrande a big "power up" and then she loses to Nathanos and does absolutely nothing with it. Then the story shifts in Shadowlands and everyone that is even slightly relevant to the Night Warrior power is practically shouting from the rooftops that Tyrande has be drained of it's power or she'll just die. There's been 0 pay off and now they're back to threatening us with more negative attention? Great way to make the Night Elf Community want to keep playing.

  4. I noticed the Ardenwield transportation network adds a direct portal to Oribos at max rank. Not sure if this is the case for the other covenants too but that would make having to go to Oribos to get to the Maw not as bad. That said, I mostly agree with you except for one thing. While leveling from 50-60 on the linear path, a couple times I would be doing a quest at level 54 or so and out of nowhere in that quest area, there would be some random level 61 elite that would stomp me into the dirt. That was not fun at all.

  5. I tried, but i left. Nothing original, mostly stolen from other game dev's. Another redo on the entire game system. Inability to balance things ever. Activision has destroyed wow. Fan boi's still think its the best thing ever, but they're blind to corporate greed and corruption. 15 years of this game and it just gets worse and worse. No you cannot have my gold. I already got rid of it all. Enjoy what you think you enjoy. The stockholm syndrome is hard to beat.

  6. Small thing I could complain about is the anima being stored in my bag in several different forms, really just wish it went into my covenant automatically, or just was a currency. Other than that it's been great so far.

  7. So cool to see pretty much everyone in all areas of the game is hyped af, happy, excited and playing hours up on hours.. they might rly have saved wow, I hope the next patches come in good too!

  8. Your channel is the reason I didn't quit WoW during BFA. Warfronts were one of the only things I enjoyed. The lore has kept me since I started in 2008 but some of the story decisions in that expansion had made me question if I could keep playing. Your content kept me subscribed to the game.

  9. I watch this reaction from you Pyro and its just mirrored mine. I haven't played or wanted to play WoW this much in years. To me the height of the game was Cataclysm, that's when I was doing everything from raids to PVP arenas. SL has brought a refreshing atmosphere I thought wasn't coming back anytime soon. Then the lore OMG JUICY!!! 🙂

  10. I just want to say thank you for everything you do, your lore, your theories and especially stuff like this. It's because of that I've been invested in the story of World of Warcraft even though I haven't played the game since Warlords of Draenor. Also it's because of your lore theories that made me truly give WoW another shot now in Shadowlands and I'm genuinely happy that I did because it's the most fun I've had in any game for a long time

  11. BFA managed to make me snap before the final patch even launched. I’d played nonstop since the end of WoD before that, but I had had enough. I quit for a year, and damn am I glad I got back in for Shadowlands

  12. i would agree with most of what has been said here, game feels amazing and less forcing you to do this and that, but i will say the first few days of me running heroics to get gear was pissing me off so much, i was just getting rings for days.

  13. the thing is used to be if you could only play a couple hours every few days you'd end up so far behind but the way things are set up now in shadowlands if you can spend an hour a day average you aren't really getting that far behind if you can spend 8 hours a day one day a week you can hammer out almost all of the really important stuff like torghast the maw ect. There is so much to do but at the end of the day you aren't forced to do really much of anything so you can pick what you want to focus on during your play sessions. This is a really big needed improvement that has really upped the feel of excitement for many. The fact that you don't have any massive goals you feel you need to accomplish but instead get steady minor goals out of your way here and there also keep the endorphins flowing allowing you to feel like you did accomplish something as long as you are working on anything you want to progress at. Tradeskills are really meh right now but i'm hoping they get some work in coming patches.

  14. I agree with almost all of this, but the lore still just isn't there for me. The Sylvanas redemption arc so far just seems….. idk. Forced. I'm going to keep my mind open, but I'm not thrilled with it. But I'm having a blast playing, and that feeling that I'm basically "done" on my main and can relax and play an alt….. it's a really good feeling.

  15. WoW is also now a pretty decent roguelite. Especially now with the Torghast nerfs. I just blazed through the first two layers with my newly minted 60 spriest and am now wondering why some of my priest friends were complaining about their difficulties in there. Maybe they are just bad. Maybe it's the nerfs.

Can't wait to level my other alts to unlock more classes for Torghast.

  16. my feelings about bfa are the exact opposite of legion. bfa started out decently well (i think legions initial systems and such were trash and made me hate the game for all the forced grinding). it wasn't too much and while the azerite crap wasn't well balanced and the progression system was annoying, it was fine once you got to the point where you could unlock the third tier on every piece. but as bfa went on, they added more systems, just refused to balance the azerite traits and let just 2 dominate a class, and they essentially added super saiyan rng upgrades to gear in 8.3. i didn't realize i was that sick of bfa when it happened but the night my guild finally killed heroic nzoth, i just quit the game for a few months. i just couldn't be bothered with the crap anymore.

with legion, it really only got better. i wasn't a big fan of the forge system they had in 7.3 but it wasn't bad. legiondaries never got their targeted method but eventually they started dropping like candy so people weren't stuck with crap legos forever and blizz even buffed some of the extremely bad ones (remember when prydaz required you to not get hit by anything for 30 seconds to gain the shield?).

if i had to say wod or bfa was worse, i'd say bfa. wod was bad but it wasn't bad enough to make me want to quit. it was more of i had to quit at a point because there was nothing to do. bfa made me actively want to quit the moment i felt like i could. wod was disappointing, but bfa was infuriating.

  17. when it comes to the loot distrubution, I must admit that this is still rng, had all 200ilvl+ gear except for my pants, I run SoA 7+ for them, had literally everything else drop for me and no pants at all 🙂 FML, lock power!

  18. Keeping it short and sweet, I have to say I love basically everything about Shadowlands. The dungeons are fun, Castle Nathria is amazing (my guild took down Denathrius normal on Tuesday!), covenants are a nice avenue to express your character or choose how you play, and gearing feels the best it has ever felt since they removed warforging. Necrolord Frost DK having a blast with almost everything (not necessarily The Maw as a zone, but that's one small thing imo).
    I would say it's a solid 9/10 overall.

  19. Honestly the best thing about Shadowlands is that pressing a button makes you see and feel like you are actually doing damage and not some damn proc did go off. Also the numbers are now smaller and actually make sense.

  20. About the transport between Oribos and Maw and other maps,
Once you reach Rank 3 upgrade for Teleportation System in your Covenant, you will have easy teleport everywhere.

  21. 20:30 Torghast imo should have been both, the lower floors required for soul ash or whatever weekly quest can be restricted to lower floors for the casuals, but the higher floors that reward achievements or optional cosmetic items can be tuned for the more serious players.

  22. did 20 plus mythics last week all in time and i got 2 bits of gear. one of which was given to me by a person who didn't need it. the lack of loot is a struggle but i still love SL
