In exactly the same boat man, if 10.0 sucks that is absolutely it. Never once been this close to quit I’ve played it longer in my life than I haven’t but they can’t just keep taking the piss out of us like this!

I mean when the blizz guys made the warcraft ip they had wanted to make something similar to warhammer 40k maybe dream haven is going to get the license for 40k and make either a 40k rts or mmo
The same devs that fucked up the game are not going to fix the game so they need to change lots of staff or pit someone who can shake the mind set to the ground.
WoW should be a place to relax..enjoy play games that has alot of content..it should be what can we do to ease the players mind enjoy his/her day..make a beautiful game that all will enjoy..thats not wrapped around todays bs nobody goes there to get preached to about how or why you should think or do something its a game..blizz has forgotten that theyve been on that mountain for so long their ego has gotten the best for them..for me BC was a fun game sure couldve used some tweaks couldve fix things but it was fun..i enjoyed it i looked forward to achieveing that goal..them simplifiing it for a money grab has turned it into a stale fruitless game..they know people will come and go and they dont care..its just about the money not the goal of being a company for the players..thats why i left i may go back but im in no rush they need..leaders that enjoy making/creating good fun content than a money grabbing egotistical way of creating a game..if enough people say hey enough we do not enjoy this they will have to change things..until then this is what we will have until they say were done with wow
this is why companies like activion bought blizzard we acted like they could do no wrong and it was purchased with that idea in mind. given i dont think alot of the problems are solely activisions fault like i doubt its standard activision practice to do cubical crawls and treat women as objects and i really hope people like you take 10.0 kinda seriously as it seems you are and kinda making this the final line cuz that will make ripples and may actually make a difference cuz i think your right they know people will just eat the shit and ask for seconds and they can typically survive the in-between while people complain knowing the payday comes next patch whether its what the player wants or not cuz its wow where else will you go cuz its their money we just hold on to it
I also doubt Dreamhaven is working on an MMO, i mean, Morhaime has the money for sure, but he'd have to bankroll the whole operation with the risk of the game failing and him going broke.
It took Blizzard decades of successes to have the confidence to embark in such an andeavor.

If Actiblizzard is scare of dreamhaven, wonder if they will start pushing the idea of calling them a company of "rapist molesters" for having old blizzard staff, and try to ruin their reputation before the first product shows up
you totally need to set up a note system for these key things you talk about, but for 10.0 i dont want to spend the money I rather see others and how they deal with it before even tossing money at them because I feel like they use that give them a chance waaay too much, then in the end you just have regret as well as anger that it could have been better.
People will be back when 10.0 launches, FFXIV will lose a shit storm of players and everyone will be on blizzards dick again and everyone will say "This will be the end" and then they will be right back on 11.0.. and so on and so on.
Pretty sure they just milking a cow before it dies. There is always hope that they can change their ways

Ion has been a disaster. He took over during MoP correct? He thought it was great. Classic, BC, and Wrath were the best expansions, and every expansion after has been below them. I still can't believe how they destroyed talent trees… Talents were so fun to play around with during the first 3 games. Classes feel less and less meaningful. Professions feel meaningless. Playing with other people was fun… They ruined it.
Accolonn if u leave wow behind i wouldn't mind watching and supporting u if u made reaction videos to ffxiv storyline and doing guides for various classes,jobs plus doing ffxiv related funny gigs and laughs.

I quit WoW and bought Activision Blizzard stocks for a reason.
At this point, Ion leaving would just be a bad thing. All they have left at this point is their strength in raid design, and like him or not Ion has had a good track record in that area. If even that goes, they'll start losing even their core core base.
Shadowlands was the last straw for me. I've been unsubbed for about 3-4 months now. Blizzard has betrayed my trust far too many times & have proven they don't give enough of a fuck to learn from their constant mistakes, so I'm not even going to give 10.0 a chance. Fuck them.

Do not give 10.0 a chance. That is what they are relying on – that is why nothing ever changes. People were so desperate to leave BFA, they bought Shadowlands in droves, and now this is where we are at. They know expansions sell, even on the backs of half-truths and outright lies. If you buy 10.0, you enable them to keep doing this.
Let them hurt. Let their preorder numbers tank like hell. Then, and only then, when they see how fucked they are, will they put in the time, energy, and effort to create a good product, and only then should you bother returning. Stop coming back on promises of change – you only enable them that way.
